The missing pieces – extra information about the show/ housemates

I know there are specific HM threads, but thought it might be useful to have a general thread to post and discuss ‘bits and pieces’ about the show or the housemates that are not aired on the daily show.

For example: ‘extra’ footage, articles or pics from Jump-in, snippets from post-eviction interviews that we haven’t seen / heard before, info from friends/family/facebook, etc.

The idea being to possibly get to know our housemates a little bit better… :)

I just figured Lawson and Leo had similar taste in clothing, but perhaps it was a task that we didn’t see?



Not seen: HMs Wake Up Dancing to Song Surprise

“That song” is played to HMs as they wake up one morning and hear it for the first time.

What’s the one thing going on in the House we don’t know about?

DION: The amount of conversations that aren’t family-orientated. We’ll talk adult for about 20 hours of the day. Most of the time we say ‘This will never get shown because it’s too rude.’ There’s a lot of flatulence. And battery-changes.

LISA: Everyone sees Skye’s bubbly nature but that’s not who she is the majority of the time. You guys are not seeing the real Skye. She has terrible manners and she’s really hard to live with. Excuses are made for her because she’s 20 and she still lives at home, but that’s gotten old now.

JAKE: That Ryan is a housemate. He’s quite a big character in the House and he’s one of those people who is in every conversation.

KATIE: The cliques. There’s the older and younger and a split down the middle. While I was in there there were definitely 2 groups and I don’t think that’s shown very much.

I love how vindictive and bitchy Lisa and Katie's responses are.
 
From post-eviction interviews with Luke:

Sandra

Sandra and Leo knew each other outside of the house, and actually worked together.

Clawson told the other housemates that they had kissed while in the Sanctuary.

The housemates used to joke about Priya and her ‘crazy witchcraft’. Sandra thinks Priya will laugh / get a kick out of the ‘Prisus’ nickname.

Funniest: Ryan; Most Annoying: Travis and Aisha for kissing constantly; Laziest: Skye.

Jason

Said that Cat told some of them (Jason, Aisha, Travis), “I’m not after any advice, I’m going to do what my heart says”. Also said that he told Cat that she needs to be careful with what she is doing.

Jason asked all of the HMs what they would have done re taking the money, and all said they would have taken it (if they were in Aisha and Travis’ shoes).

Travis was so accepting of him, and really touchy-feely with everyone in the house. Rubbed Jason’s inner-thigh in the spa (Jason laughing: "he had no control about where his hands were") and would jump in bed with him in the mornings. Jason thinks Travis is in love with Aisha.

Funniest: Syke: Most Annoying: Travis for looking in the mirror all the time; Laziest: Priya -she moves really slowly.
