The missing pieces – extra information about the show/ housemates

Did anyone notice in last nights episode when BB spoke to the boys (in the same segment BB said the only numbers he was thinking about was Ryans sisters phone number) and David said "This is the first time you've spoken to us in four days, Big Brother" FOUR DAYS without speaking to the hm's? WTF?

And we're supposed to believe that Alex is a purist and does things like the originals?

Maybe it was just Leon Murray that has been away, so that particular BB voice hasn't been heard.

Haha! It was from one of the earlier episodes when Tim Dormer was in the house. If you need to see it, click here at your own peril for the clip. :)

Yeah I figured they just meant “that” voice too – like maybe Leon has been away, or he only does the nominations shows nowadays? We seem to hear more of the other voices.

I also read somewhere (Sandra’s Twitter I think) that there is a female BB voice. I can’t recall hearing that one on the show either…

David dad's name is Melvyn, and when he was nominating BB said, "Melvyn, what a lovely name. It may also interest you to know that Big Brother was christened 'Melvyn.'"

So the boys ran with it. :D The BB voice during noms (and later that night) was Leon's.

More post-eviction 'snippits'

Richard
Not a lot new from Richard, and it seems that he was asked a lot about Skye. Has said things that others (eg Aisha, Marina) have already told us, ie: “She always has to be the centre of attention or the focus of the conversation. If she’s not she’ll be singing into the mirror or she’ll go off and have long, loud conversations to herself.”

Also said that Skye is very emotionally invested in winning the show, and that she will be surprised if she doesn’t.

On Skye and Leo: “Skye loves to throw him under the bus whenever she can, but he likes playing the card that he’s getting screwed over by Skye. He enjoys being the wounded boyfriend.”

Richard also said that David apparently has a “huge crush” on Penny but won’t declare his feelings because everyone in the house is hypersensitive after what happened with Cat and Lawson.

Was asked if the four Neighbours knew going in that the show needed a boost due to low ratings and also needed bit more atmosphere. He said yes, and that the brief they were given was to shake things up a bit. Also said that the housemates were 'switched onto it' when they came in - especially David, Priya and Ryan - and could sense themselves that things were getting a bit boring.

After Sonia came into the house and put her feet on Penny, Penny was a bit taken-back and thought it meant she was going to be gone. She over-analyses things.

On David: He says it as it is and doesn’t hold back if someone annoys him. The HMs made a ‘massive skit’ on him called “Real Life Dave” and what he’d actually be like on the outside world. Tom said a couple of times that Dave is just a really awkward guy. (Sandra also tweeted something about the “Real Life Dave” skit, so maybe it’s been going on for a while and not just what we saw on a recent episode?)

I'd be interested to know more about this “Real Life Dave” skit the HM's are doing.
I wonder if it started out as way to ridicule him? Hopefully David sees the funny side

The night the newbies entered the house we saw David in the DR all excited about it, saying that things were getting a bit boring at times and he really only had Ryan,Priya and Marina to talk with, so I'm guessing the couples were often too busy off doing their thing most of the time...
