The Masked Singer AU 2020

And sadly they all fit the categories promoted in the pre-season promos, albeit in a rather obscure way.If those predictions are true, no wonder I'm so far off the mark. They seem to be drawing from a pool of light entertainment/musical theatre rather than pop stars.
And there needs to be a Hollywood actor doesn’t there?A great analysis of the clues and pretty much spot on. I’d say this is very close to correct:
Dragonfly - Sophie Monk
Puppet - Simon Pryce
Frillneck - Eddie Perfect
Queen - Kate Miller-Heidke
Wizard - Isaiah Firebrace
Kitten - Julia Morris
Cactus - Lucy Durack
Bushranger - Bonnie Anderson
I’m still convinced some clues from Dragonfly match Margot Robbie though.

Sophie Monk has been in many Hollywood films.

Masked Singer shut down over COVID-19
The entire cast of hit reality show The Masked Singer Australia has been shut down with stars having to self isolate after an outbreak of coronavirus on set.

I’m sure they’ve already filmed the next couple of weeks. After that it should be cleared.
I was shocked when I read this as I know a lot of them, but as far as I’m aware this hasn’t affected any of that team. The back-up dancers are apparently a Sydney-based team, and are separate to the “masked” Melbourne-based crew who feature in the clue packages and escort the celebs on and off stage, etc.
From what I know the COVID-Safe guidelines and restrictions on set have been very strict since pre-season, and the production’s health and safety compliance has been a major priority, so for this to occur is quite a blow. Hopefully it doesn’t affect the future of the season too much.

Also, according to another report, apparently they were supposed to be filming the Grand Final episode this weekend - and the shutdown has affected an unnamed Channel 9 production that was supposed to film at the Docklands studios this week.

A bit more info here too..

Update: 10 production is shut down with stars & staff into lockdown, just before grand final.

The judges are fed names to guess and who not to guess for certain singers.I heard on a radio that the producers get angry when the judges get the names right. The more I watch the show, it kind of makes sense cause sometimes the judges throw out really random and too obvious names.

That is correct. The voting for the grand final was supposed to be last night but we got an email that the super fan panel had been cancelled for the night.
Knowing the logistics of television and how tight turnaround times, hires, contracts, etc, are... this is a very sad turn of events, especially right before the end of filming. It’s affected so many other shows as well. Hopefully they can find a way to make it work soon!
Apparently The Bachelorette can’t film without Osher now either.
