The Jimmy Savile case - Gary Glitter arrrested

That is not funny but I did laugh.... Why did you do that?

You do understand that if you find something funny the appropriate response is to laugh, yes?

Some of you people really need to get out more.

In answer to your question, I did that because it was the first thing I thought when I read Pecan's link and I found it mentally funny, I then shared that thought in the hope someone else might giggle inappropriately too. In the real world, jokes don't always need to be tasteful or appropriate to be funny, speaking of tasteless jokes, this one should blow your balls off:-

Knock knock
who's there?
Little boy blue
Little boy blue who?
Michael Jackson

Ha!

Yeah that's the thing I love the odd innapropriate joke. But sometimes not sure when or should I laugh.....

I did like that 2nd one. It was funny.

Very disappointed to find Rolf Harris mixed up in this lot.

So howcome the witch hunt hasn't gone after people like Bill Wyman who was living with Mandy Smith when she was 13, and he was 47

".......He began dating her, with her mother's permission, when Mandy was only 13, (he was 47) something that later raised a furor in the public when it was claimed they were having sex, and she was underage. However, they stayed together despite the fuss, but the dating was longer than the marriage. Wed when she was 19, the two divorced a year later.

But wait! The story gets better. During his courtship of Mandy, Wyman's son Stephen began dating Mandy's mother. He married the mother, shortly after his father's divorce. Had Bill and Mandy stayed married, Bill would have been Stephen's father and son-in-law. Stephen would have been his son, and his father-in-law. Mrs. Smith would have been Mandy's mother and daughter-in-law, and Mandy would have been Mrs. Smith's daughter and mother-in-law.

Only half? Wowser...

The afternoon is still young, I tells ya!

P.S. If I am honest, I am just talking myself up. In actual fact I dropped some Anzac biscuits and had a cup of chia tea

P.P.S. I often say things for the shock value, you know when I talked about fucking in an alley, if I am going to be honest, I haven't done that in well... weeks!

P.P.P.S It is so nice to be conversing without enraged spittle flying at my laptop screen :)

P.P.P.S. Now I have to skilfully try and bring this back on topic

He's Rolf the Ped

...but as you said ... to bring it back on topic... on this link...

http://au.news.yahoo.com/nsw/latest...f-harris-declines-interview-over-allegations/

...in my opinion I think that Channel 7 is desperate for any kind of scoop in regards to the allegations against Rolf Harris... in the first video clip on that website they insert a crossover to one of their reporters in London who is standing outside of Rolfs house waiting to be asked by 7 News about further developments in regards to the Australian womans claims about Rolf 20 years back... he then goes into action...

...Channel 7 reporter goes up to Rolf's front gate and presses the Intercom button... Rolf picks up...

Rolf "Hello"...
Ch 7 "Good morning is Mr Harris available?"...
Rolf "Who is this?"...
Ch 7 "I was just wondering if you had any response to the claims made in Australia?"...
Rolf "No". (Rolf hangs up.)

...that's it... then they roll on over to other snippets from other news bulletins elsewhere...

...that short exchange between the 7 reporter and Rolf was such a pointless exercise as far as I'm concerned... why show it?... surely Rolf is up to his eyeballs in Police investigations... he has totally denied his involvement in anything whatsoever... Scotland Yard can't ween any information out of him... so what is going to do?... suddenly break down and blurt out the whole sordid episode to the 7 reporter because of his intense rigorous interrogation technique of asking him... "Do you have any response to the claims made in Australia"?... seriously it is so pathetic...

...I'm all for the TV news stations reporting the latest developments on these perverted souls... they should be brought to justice... but really... doing crappy pad filling stories like that just makes the subject look less important than the situation actually is to me... mind you... this is just my own personal opinion of the 'report'... others may differ in opinion... cheers.

The media, and this goes for all TV, not so much radio are vultures

They circle around a person or story like vultures looking for fresh blood.
