Who is the actress and character that she plays?

On Home & Away last night they had two teachers arguing while putting books in the library. Who was the blode teacher? I thought she was quite nice but her acting seemed very forced and flat.. As if she was reading her lines. And the guy came off as a jerk... No she's not interested idiot..

Maybe you could ask this in the H & A thread?

I am of course being frivolous but...

Did anyone else tune in to Packed To The Rafters tonight after seeing the NUDITY warning, expecting a bit of gratuitous boobage or buttage from one of the attractive cast members (whichever your preference)?

How quaint then that what we got then, right at the end of the show, was a skinny-dip featuring the two cast members in their late sixties/seventies :p

Does anyone watch world's strictest parents?

I know I sound like an old fuddy-duddy here, but these kids are alcoholics and unbelievably spoilt. The parent just now was crying because the daughter (17) lives at home with her boyfriend, quit school, has been hospitalised 3 times after taking ecstasy and drinks herself into a stupor every other night. And the mum's there going "she never contributes to the household!". I'm sitting here thinking well she's getting money to buy drugs and alcohol from somewhere.

Yeah, thats what i mean.... The show doesn't seem to touch on that. It's all "Look! A week in Peru/Texas/China/Washinton has made these troubled teens into angels!"

Yeah, I call bullshit on that too. Kids don't change in a week like that. I don't quite understand how they get the kids to go. If the are as feral as they make out they are, wouldn't the tell the parents to get fkd? They must be handing over bucketloads of cash to the kids to get them to go along with it.

I know for a fact it's bullshit. My friend is friends with one of the mother's from last season and her son went back to his ways pretty much as soon as he came back home. The show is just a ratings grab, it's crap.

They need to do a look back at all the teens featured on the show, a year afterwards.

I mean, we are meant to believe a black screen with white writing on it that says "Tiffahneigh hasn't used drugs since she came home and has gone back to school, is working towards her HSC and hoping to study medicine. She has also adopted a three-legged cancer-ridden llama from the rspca and is fundraising to help blind orphans in Bangladesh".

Mmmm, right.

OMG reality TV being fake...... Now who would have thought of that? Blimey

/sarcasm and giggles intended :)

Love you all

I was wondering how they get the teens to go, I have a candidate for this!
Anyway, read an interview with Aza last girl on the show - she said she agreed to go as it was overseas trip/free holiday.
2 things I get watching this quick fix show, the kids go as a mere extension of their nasty ways - ah cool I get to have a trip and act out & tell people to get stuffed on TV, I will be Paris Hilton.
Then - they get a bit embarassed, they get they are with good people eventually and that they are looking like tools on TV, so they flip it and act nice.

A much better show is the one that was on SBS ages ago about teens that go to a boot camp in the US, and they stay for ages, months, and months. They don't get to go home until and they have endured the wilderness, treking, and a troopp of counsellors modifying their behaviour.

However, I used to work for an organistion that took teens to Canberra once a year, and they met the PM, GG, and the Chief Justice. They visited parliament, courts, and lots of cool stuff and took part in a debate/discussions at old parliament house.

We had so many parents write to us and say who is this you gave me back he/she is a different person, a vastly improved person, so I guess rich experiences can make a big difference.

I was going to mention Brat Camp too (was on ABC actually)

As kxk already said they got turfed into the desert for like a minimum of 3 months and some were there longer. They also did a follow up and I'd say the majority sorted themselves out and a couple were borderline.

My mother would not even buy me alcohol like a week before my 18th! These kids are spoilt little shi*s no two ways about it.

^^ Oh yeah! I loved that brat camp!! There was even one for the whole family! Now that was funny!!

I liked Brat Camp as well - I would have liked to have seen the family one but missed it.

I knew one of these Strictest Parents kids from last season, Memphis. I should say I did know her until her parents separated and her mum moved to the next town with the four kids. I think she was in year 5 or 6 when that happened, anyway she was an arrogant little bitch then, as were her brothers and sister.

Apparently, when she came back her mother kicked her out because she was still a mouthy drunk. A guy my son knows bragged that he got with her at a party (another kid who could fit on the show easily) like it was some big achievement to have dirty sex with a 'tv star'. My son (love him) told the guy about the show and that he should get checked out at a clinic. lol

The black screen in her case didn't claim any miracles happened.
