The Slap was one of the best dramas Australia has ever produced I reckon....just amazing.
 
I didn't get to watch The Slap. I read the book and will borrow the DVD's from the parents I think. I have to say that from reading the book, there was not one likeable character in the whole book. But interested to see how it is presented for viewing.

Wow, can't believe I didnt' look at the revenge spoiler - will try not to as I usually can't help myself but then kick myself!!

Looking forward to Once Upon a Time, and hope it is good. But will be watching Masterchef, so shame because I will stop watching Dr Who (I have only just started watching while ABC2 has been showing the repeats and really love it). Got to get myself hooked up to record shows or do that downloading thingo

Ludite I'm not, but I just need to work out how to do these things. Next lunchtime google project I think.
 
I agree with Sorceress (welcome back :)) on The Slap, it was really excellent tv. All the characters were flawed and nearly perfectly cast. Really well done.

Anyone watch 10 new show The Living Room fridays?

I was flipping channels and this thing came on, a room full of hot Spanish guys fool around together, and I went woohoo what the hell is this?
Well Living room has an excitable Spanish cook, and he has lots of hot brothers and buddies, and yeah different cuisine! Hopefully he has Sth American stuff too.
Anyway, bits I saw were no too bad, even Amanda Keller is back to her Beyond 2000 self, not the smarmy snark stuff, more the straight host with a pinch of warmth.
 
Am watching Dancing with the Stars....Shannon Noll has withdrawn injured.

Danielle Spencer-Crowe has just performed.

Kerri Anne is channelling Phrynne Fisher

Scary Spice looks SPECTACULAR :D

Brian Mannix looks like a skelton on legs

Fev just looks strange :D

OMG I was just thinking that about KAK...... She's been watching Miss Fisher. BTW that's coming to an end next week :(

How bout Zoe Crammond dancing with 4 cracked ribs or something. Awesome

And I say it every week but Brendan Fevola keeps reminding me of Jaws from the 007 movies.....

Jaws was the big guy played by Richard Kiel who had metal teeth and could bite through anything.

We watched that and really enjoyed it. I like the four people they have got to be part of the show. I loved Baz from Renovators last year - I loved Renovators to be honest. And I find Amanda pretty entertaining. Thought she was very funny with the Miss Australia woman.

My fella has never seen the chef before - I can;t spell his name LOL - and he thought he was awesome!! I would be happy to chill out watching this on a Friday night.

I also meant to say in comment on the Living Room show on Ten, that I think Channel Ten do a good job in grouping people together ie the circle, the project, and this show.
 
Will be watching Bike Wars: Brothers in Arms however the ads are putting me off a bit, they guy with the enormous mustache has a strange accent, is it supposed to be Scottish or maybe South African?
 
Record and fast forward the ads, Eliza....we do that all the time.


Doesn't Risky Business start tonight? with Shane Bourne, Debbie Byrne and Gigi Edgely???? after the voice???
 
The dude with the irritating accent is an actor in Brothers In Arms lol, so the story will lose something if I fast forward every time he comes on the screen.

PS: I IQ just about everything and fast forward the ads.
