I posted about the video being taken down on The Block facebook page & surprise, my posts are being sent to the mods etc. lmao
 
I just tried to get the vid to work and it wouldn't run. Will try again!

Regarding the video, are you sure you don't have ActiveX Filtering ticked. Go to tools in IE & you will see it. (about 4 down)
 
So is your Glasshouse any better than ours was? The US one sucked terribly. Did not get renewed, only had the one season

Also where can I watch what Carlein and Micheal did for Big brother

This is our 9th, it started in Oz, but this year we have had 2 seasons, its a good show, but two in one year only a few months a part, its a bit much, and the building they using this year is very overwhelming, can't get full sense of space, and possibly the blandest cast of all 9 seasons

They have pre determined reserve evaluation, then they have a challenge to take money off the reserve, whoever make the most profit wins (so the lower your reserve the better your chances, they don't know their reserves till final week) so the apartment may get the most amount of money, but if that has a high reserve and they only pocket $200,000 even if their apartment highest they won't win (but they do get to keep any money they get as profit) so last year Steve & Chantelle's reserve was $1.834m, they sold for $2.47m a profit of $636,000 (which they keep) plus got $100,000 extra, in saying that even the 4th place getters pocketed over $500,000.... so not bad for 4+ months work!

I believe you are talking about a completely different concept & show - around the world, GLASSHOUSE is another BB type concept/show.

THE BLOCK - is a renovation RTV show, running for many years here. Each season has a new tag - so this one is glasshouse because it's an old office block covered in glass.

The Block & renovation shouldn't be used in the same sentence.

OMG yes, what the hell was I thinking - not enough coffee in my brain yet:)

Let me make a correction - THE BLOCK, is a fantasy show, based around the illusion of property and improvements, a bunch of couples compete and squabble and think they are some kind if entertainers.
 
Still doesn't warrant the carry on "they MUST be cheating" "they've got SO much money"

Even if they should owe the tiler 5k, fact remains their apartment is very large it indicates they're really careful with money. 5k isn't that much, not to the degree the other contestants are mouthing off about. If you were to believe them you'd think Max and Karsten have cheated to the tune of 20+k
 
It's clear that the judges are not in line with what the general public like. The prospective buyers voted Max and Karstons apartment the best by about 7 points from 2nd place. And last was Carlene's apartment which the judges score highly each week. Massive difference between what the judges like and what the average joe does who isnt an interior designer.

I like their apartment too,at least the buyers can put their own stamp on it.It's supposed to be their home not the contestants
