The crew i saw while at the live show mostly looked like middle aged to older men, although i did see 2 of the crew there from these photos.

Serious question. But how do they get these jobs? I've always heard you have to know someone to get a job
I have seen these sorts of jobs posted on seek, and open requests for staff for various films/TV shows being posted in relevant Facebook groups.
Some staff i saw, like that girl with brown Rossi boots/full sleeve tattoos, looked like Media studies students i knew from Uni, so those degrees help.

Truly unbelievable. Specifically lauding the incidental music? These crew members and, apparently clueless viewers, have no idea.
I suggest a polite email and/or comments in an attempt to steer the ship in the right direction.

I do wonder if they really only had Jonathon Sunmerhayes and the rest were either media studies students and the odd personnel with "Reality" on their CV.
I did see 2 familiar faces that worked on the 9 version, didn't recognise anyone else.
It's just annoying that we spent the better part of say 16 weeks (2 weeks for most of the OG season livestreams) and we got something that didn't really reflect that. Unless that was for the OG fans to be drawn in, just to be sucker punched in the face on launch night. Almost as if they've done a complete reset and this is the new generation of BB and its crew, and this is the direction they'll continue to head.
I just pray next year is an improvement.
I did see this on Mike Goldman's page, he said 250 workers or more... unless that's including the builders and the Dreamworld staff, I just can't see it being that many. But he's in the know I guess.
To be fair OG BB used to require about 500 workers.

I would of thought u needed more experience to work on a show like this but I guess not these days especially if they are doing it budget

Bringing on noobs to work a show isn’t uncommon, but typically they’re working under the instruction of someone experienced. You have to start and learn somewhere.
This season seemed to be entirely run by green industry members. I find it hard to believe a seasoned professional ran the show this season.
Peter Abbott, Kris Noble and Alex Mavroidakis - your BB expertise is needed.
Another major issue this year is that it became evident (via the live stream) the show was being treated as way more of a manufactured television production than it ever should have been.
The voice of Big Brother merely acted as a mouthpiece for a director during the whole season - directing housemates where to stand for cameras, interrupting conversations then telling them to say or not say something, casually chatting to housemates via the intercom as producers instead of as the Big Brother character, etc. There is very, very little that actually happened organically in the house over the course of those 30 days. It makes the entire premise redundant.
I don’t doubt this is something that occurred during the pre-recorded Seven era too, and this year’s live stream simply allowed viewers to be privy to it, but it absolutely has no place on Big Brother. Again, this show was - and should be - treated as a unique experience that differs from any other scripted reality TV.
Among a multitude of other issues highlighted here and in other threads, one thing remains clear - what we were delivered this season was far from the “OG” version they think they gave us.

Well said. Way to much producer involvement. Big brother should be someone you don't hear from that often, like the original 10 days. Instead now it's just a producer whoxh is what Peter Cunningham is, drawing out and manipulating content
Adding on from that, unfortunately in the producers eyes they seem to think they delivered the perfect Big brother but your right. It's far from anything OG and nothing like I was expecting

I'm hoping people send emails complaining. I have but these producers seem so blinded to just how bad it was. It's really only the live stream that made it a success and that was terrible at times to
