The Best Ever Big Brother Winner And The Worst Ever Winner

Best: Tim (2013) has to be the best winner, Trevor (2004) could possibly come close.

Worst: Jamie (2006) was definitely the worst I don't remember much about him besides him saying 'like' a lot, he was just real boring, Camilla should have won that year. Benjamin (2012), all the buzz surrounding his win and production being behind it, definitely makes him one of the worst winners and undeserving winners.

Yeah. Could have been manipulated by producers? There was some elements of the same situation which made Terri win in 2008. The "proposal" at the end and winning is very shifty. I wouldn't put it pass them to want a "controversial gay marriage proposal" at the end of the finale. Channel Nine love marriage proposals in their reality TV shows.

In Benjamin's thread a couple of months ago he admitted that his proposal was what got him in the show in the first place. Something suss.

I did always plan to propose to Ben right from the start. but I WAS NOT always comfortable with my sexuality (I think growing up in the 90's was a factor), my prejudices about same sex marriage were a derivative of my own self loathing. I was at times hard and hurtful toward myself as it took awhile to become fully comfortable with my sexuality. My Mum actually asked me to propose to Ben and offered the family stone - not a ring. I was planning on asking Ben to marry me in New York city two months before Big Brother. But changed my mind when I started to feel I was going to be on Big Brother. I had been knocked back three times before in the final hurdle of auditions and I thought telling the producers I would propose when evicted would be the final effort to secure my place in the house. It was discussed heavily - that I would be happy to propose even if I came out of the house first. (I still would have.) When inside the house I felt is was still being true to myself that I would argue for and against about same sex marriage. I thought the audience would be more interested to see the journey I had been on in the outside world. before they saw my proposal and judged me as a political statement.

A lot of the winner's have been shit IMO or underserving....

WORST: The logans- because of who they are and because Vesna should have won- one of my all time favourite housemates

BEST: Reggie
... followed by Tim(who I think is the most deserving given he put so much into the show)
 
There have been a lot of poor winners. Peter2002 was sooooo boring. There was a stretch from 2004-2006 when housemates who came 2nd or 3rd would have been much more deserving of the win. In 2004 Paul should have won over Trevor. In 2005 Vesna or Tim should have won over Logan Greg. And in 2006 Camilla should have beat Jamie.

I think the only year where the housemate who added the most to the show and won was last year with Tim Dormer winning the show.

I can't, however, just choose one winner as the worst. To me, Ben, Peter, Trevor, the Logans, Jamie and Terri were all equally terrible HM's who won the final prize. :wtf:

I forgot that Terri won (the horror of it must have caused me to erase it from my memory). She is proof that the general Australian public still tolerates people with racist views.

Last year I was in line at Dreamworld waiting to go into one of the evictions, when Terri lined up behind me with her partner. Nobody except me recognised her, nobody asked for photos or even said hello. I whispered to my friend that she was behind us and he didn't really care either. Pretty soon we were in the middle of a massive line of Big Brother fans and not one single person (except for me) recognised her, or if they did they didn't care. Lol.

That's kinda sad tbh.

But to be fair, BB08 is the season of forgotten HM's.
