The Bachelorette

See that just shows how everything is open to interpretation. That article sees Richie's date as cringeworthy and that he blew his chances by not declaring his everlasting love for her.
The way I saw it was he's a sweet, sincere, shy guy who didn't want to put on a winning performance, and it made me like him even more.
these 'stories' from the DM are just that - 'stories' ... they are given some photos and some basic facts and told to weave an article out of it

they are pumping the stuff out today!!

I think it was a huge ask for Sam to expect the guys to lay it all on the line after such a short time ... not every relationship is a bolt of lightning ... some are slow-burning flames ...

but I think she's known what / who she wants for a few weeks at least ... maybe even the week she eliminated Dave ... putting him in the friend-zone ... (friend of the guy she's fallen for so better to get him outta there soon? mind you Dave did himself no favours becoming a moody looking sulker for his final 2 eps!)

Richie is lovely - and he'll find his ONE some day - it just probably won't make headlines

They really are churning the stories out, and you are doing an amazing job bringing them to us, I absolutely couldn't be bothered looking at the site myself. Stay strong!

I usually end up in a really snarky bad mood after reading them because they just annoy me so much - and especially if I put my comments on them ... so I've refrained today ... lol

It's funny out there in social media land.

Half the people are saying how 'obvious' it is that it's Sasha.
The other half are saying how 'obvious' it is that it's Michael.
Which means... it isn't obvious at all!

so do I need to order in more champagne and choccies then?

My concern with Sam picking Sasha is that I feel she may have made the decision from the first meeting. After she met Sash she actually said "now we're talking" and got all girly maybe indicating that she hadn't found any of the other guys all that attractive.

There's been an early attraction there but I'm not too sure yet how they connect on other levels. The fact that Sam actually brought up that she was feeling insecure that she's not as wealthy as Sasha was really weird I thought. I feel that if she really had a proper sense for him she'd already have an idea whether that kind of stuff mattered to him or not.

On the other hand though I'm not sure I see any deep connection with Michael either. I'm one of the few here who don't dislike him, but there's defiently something off between him and Sam I find. It all seems very surface level.

I guess I'm just not really feeling either of the connections. The only one I could really see Sam compatible with on more than the initial attraction level was Richie. They seemed very on the same wave length, maturity level, humour, etc.

There's definitely a physical connection there but I'm not too sure yet how they connect on other levels. I thought the whole thing was weird last night and was left feeling that she was told to have some issue with each of the guys and that was all she could manage to come up with for Sash ... to me it seems more relevant to Michael than Sash so I just didn't get it at all

all of the homes she visited seemed very nice - why did Sash's mum's place stand out more than Michael's parent's place with that view?

I just didn't really get it at all ... so that's what made me feel like she was clutching at straws for something to bring up with him ...

Maybe. I do get the impression that Sam is a bit intimidated by Sasha though (hence part of the attraction probably) - so the insecurity would tie into that. Sam doesn't seem intimidated by Michael at all - which I found interesting given how intimidated the other guys seemed to be. Also Michael's parents were overly nice and welcoming so maybe that's why she didn't find the whole thing intimidating. She also probably knew that they didn't really live there lol. Given all the photos around maybe Sasha's family really are wealthy?

if I were Sam and knew the parents of any of them really didn't live where we were filming I'd be wondering WTF ...
I would want to be able to go to their REAL home off camera at the very least so I could get a non-manufactured idea of who these people really are
You can tell a lot about people by their home ... not their address ... their HOME

that is one part of this I really hate - since when does channel 10 get to judge what is or isn't good enough to show as someone's home? WHO started this trend??

Yeah, it is weird. Sam would defiently know it's all show for the viewers though and she'd know which ones really had the nice houses and which ones were told to rent one for filming.
