The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, Channel Ten has confirmed that both shows will return next year, and even hinted at a possible spin off series as well.
'Throughout the world The Bachelorette series haven't rated as well as The Bachelor,' Channel Ten's Head of Entertainment and Factual Programs, Stephan Tate told
The Daily Telegraph on Wednesday.
'I think producers around the world will be looking at the way Australia has done it as it's been very successful for us,' he said.

Stephan also promised fans of the show that The Bachelorette's second season would be longer than this season's shortened five week version after the show surprisingly increased the giant ratings already achieved by The Bachelor.
'Absolutely we would make it longer,' he said, adding: 'It all comes down to casting, but this season has given us great confidence.'
He also promised that the shows will adopt the After The Final Rose specials which are already popular on US versions of the series and see the Bachelors and Bachelorettes reunited.
The network is also considering a Bachelor spin-off which could come in the form of show formats already tried and tested in the US, such as Bachelor Pad or Bachelor in Paradise.

Meanwhile Sam Frost will reveal her chosen suitor to the nation on Thursday night.
Michael Turnbull, Sasha Mielczarek and Richie Strahan have made it to the final three.
But Wednesday's episode will see her send home one suitor before whisking her two finalists off to New Zealand.

The Bachelorette took to social media on Tuesday to set the record straight over her current relationship status with the show's winner.
Sharing an image of the beach, the 26-year-old said she was neither pregnant nor confused and was still 'very happy' with the man she chose when filming wrapped in July.
'I can confirm, I'm not pregnant, confused or had a change of heart,' she wrote,' continuing: 'It's been four months, my man and I are still going strong and very happy together.'
Sam went on to warn: 'Wednesday night is absolutely heart breaking. Very sad moment saying goodbye to a truly incredible man.'
