Striking while the iron's hot! Channel Ten confirm The Bachelor and The Bachelorette WILL return next year after huge ratings success and hint at possible spin off series
By Megan Pustetto For Daily Mail Australia
They were possibly the two of biggest show's to grace the small screen in Australia this year.
And following the huge ratings success of both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, Channel Ten has confirmed that both shows will return next year, and even hinted at a possible spin off series as well.
'Throughout the world The Bachelorette series haven't rated as well as The Bachelor,' Channel Ten's Head of Entertainment and Factual Programs, Stephan Tate told The Daily Telegraph on Wednesday.
'I think producers around the world will be looking at the way Australia has done it as it's been very successful for us,' he said.

Stephan also promised fans of the show that The Bachelorette's second season would be longer than this season's shortened five week version after the show surprisingly increased the giant ratings already achieved by The Bachelor.
'Absolutely we would make it longer,' he said, adding: 'It all comes down to casting, but this season has given us great confidence.'
He also promised that the shows will adopt the After The Final Rose specials which are already popular on US versions of the series and see the Bachelors and Bachelorettes reunited.
The network is also considering a Bachelor spin-off which could come in the form of show formats already tried and tested in the US, such as Bachelor Pad or Bachelor in Paradise.
Making the most of it: Channel Ten has even hinted at possible spin off series after the success of similar shows, such as Bachelor in Paradise, in the US
New show? The network is also considering a spin-off based on the successful US show Bachelor Pad, however this is yet to be confirmed
Meanwhile Sam Frost will reveal her chosen suitor to the nation on Thursday night.
Michael Turnbull, Sasha Mielczarek and Richie Strahan have made it to the final three.
But Wednesday's episode will see her send home one suitor before whisking her two finalists off to New Zealand.
Happy: Sam Frost will reveal her chosen suitor to the nation on Thursday night's episode of The Bachelorette
Tense: Wednesday's episode will see Sam eliminate either Sasha Mielczarek, Richie Strahan or Michael Turnbull
New Idea magazine published a report on Monday, claiming the beauty 'made a terrible mistake' in her selection.
'She's devastated, their relationship is fizzling out fast,' a source told the publication.
Viewers eagerly await the first part of this week's finale on Wednesday which will see one of the men depart the show.
In a teaser for the episode, Sam is seen on the verge of tears as she hands out the final two roses, unable to contain her emotions as she selects who she will take to New Zealand.
Thrill-seeking: Sam is seen taking a helicopter ride with Richie Strahan on one of their final dates
Adventure: The brunette is also seen whale watching with 34-year-old footballer Michael Turnball (this could be out of Sydney?)
Declaration: Sasha, a construction manager, admits to falling 'more in love' with the 26-year-old
The Bachelorette took to social media on Tuesday to set the record straight over her current relationship status with the show's winner.
Sharing an image of the beach, the 26-year-old said she was neither pregnant nor confused and was still 'very happy' with the man she chose when filming wrapped in July.
'I can confirm, I'm not pregnant, confused or had a change of heart,' she wrote,' continuing: 'It's been four months, my man and I are still going strong and very happy together.'
Sam went on to warn: 'Wednesday night is absolutely heart breaking. Very sad moment saying goodbye to a truly incredible man.'
Emotional: Sam is seen tearing up as she is forced to eliminate one of the men on Wednesday's dramatic episode
Mysterious: The beauty shared this image of a beach as she fumed at rumours surrounding her romance

If she 'cried for an hour' afterwards, then I reckon it will be 'such a beautiful person, such a sweet/sensitive soul' and See ya, Richie.
Perhaps, it could be anyone.
But the fact she said the public would be shocked, when a majority of the 'public' are assuming Sash is the winner and think Richie will be going home tonight anyway.. I don't know, I just thought the biggest shock would be Sasha.
see I don't get you thinking Sash loves himself ... I can see that with Michael but not with Sash.If she dumps Richie before the final two it will be Heathergate all over again, and she kind of deserves what she gets.
I can only speak for myself, but it would be no choice at all for me. Richie is the one you could guarantee would give her everything. Sasha and Michael are too in love with themselves. Michael is the better of the two but he's quite emotionally closed off as far as I can see. I also have a hunch that Sasha would be the least heartbroken by being dumped, though it would hurt his ego obviously.
I think he's just a blokey guy and see the banter with the other guys as part of that - but he's never come across as arrogant that I saw ... and the other guys seemed to react well to him. He's typical of the men I see in construction industry ... able to converse with workers on site and also with management in professional mode ... that doesn't make him fake just adaptable in his working environment
with Michael I think unfortunately the "polishing" of his career in the beginning has set the tone for how he's looked at ... he does come across as a nice guy but there's just a big BUT there ...
Ritchie is great but sometimes I wonder if he's in the right place just yet for Sam ... I don't know if he can give up that job of his to be with Sam - what would he do in Sydney ... and whilst he says it on/off (maybe FIFO) stuff its still out of Perth ... so factor in also having to fly in/out Sydney ... that's a big ask ... and is Sam wanting someone who's gone for months at a time? that's also a biggie
I'm confused ...
I have chocolate and tissues at the ready for tonight and I'm trying to steel myself at seeing Sash eliminated ... but I'm not truly convinced it will be him yet ... I just hate it to be at Ritchie's expense

I've never really liked Sash on the show, I don't hate him and I'm not saying he's an awful human being or anything, he's just a bit too full of himself for me. Michael is too, but in a different way, less blokey. Personality-wise I think Richie is the nicest, and purely physically I'd go with Michael. Sasha doesn't really rate on either scale for me, but to each their own

That's the best thing about these shows, there's someone for everyone!
To be honest, none of their looks really appealed to me to start with.
I think they all became more attractive the more we got to know them.
I thought DM was actually a bit harsh about Michael, pretty much saying he was just a fame whore. I think he does have that certain liking of attention thing but I also think he genuinely has feelings for Sam. I think maybe DM were just cut because he was laughing at them.

'I am VERY happy with the outcome': The Bachelorette's Michael Turnbull hints he may be the winner of Sam Frost's heart
ByBIANCA LA CIOPPA FOR DAILY MAIL AUSTRALIA
With only two sleeps to go until Sam Frost reveals her final rose receiver in The Bachelorette finale, running hopeful Michael Turnbull has dropped a hint, leaving fans questioning if he is Sam's 'one'.
Speaking to106.5FM's David Hughes and Kate Langbroek on Tuesday, the 34-year-old revealed he was 'VERY happy with the outcome' of the show.
'Everyone can see I am happy and they are happy for me,' he added, while trying to dodge Kate's subtle questions.
Is it him? The Bachelorette's Michael Turnbull said he was 'very happy with the outcome' of the show on Tuesday, hinting he may be Sam Frost's 'one'
The radio host put Michael on the spot, asking him if he had shared 'any private female affection' over the past five months to which he simply replied 'yes'.
When asked if he had a girlfriend at the present the professional football player hesitated in answering.
'That is an impossible question to answer... I can't answer that,' he continued.
The drilling questions came after he was spotted shopping for jewellery at Tiffany & Co over the weekend.
