Oh I hope Richie wins.
If Sam doesn't claim Richie, I think one of his mates is waiting for second dibs.

I watched the show online again but the internet has been so slowwwwwwwwwwwww.
Anyway! Thoughts.
- Michael's parents are indeed nice! But unlike most of you, I don't know if I have warmed up to him - bearing in mind the new information from my friend (which admittedly is from a friend of a friend so I know I can't count on it 100%), plus I think his parents being nice doesn't necessarily have a correlation to how he is with women. His hand message to Sam in the end is still as cheesy as the other seduction moves he's pulled so far in the show...
- Alex. I think his sister was alright! It was just the tense background music that was misleading. Listening to her questions, watching her expressions and ignoring the music, it all seems reasonable. It's obvious that he's not in the running but I feel bad for him.
- Richie. Like Sam, I would be intimidated too to see so many people in the house, and wow his friend really grilled her! Hopefully it was just the editing that made it seem like the questions kept coming one after another. Richie seems a bit tongue-tied around Sam in the way that Sam was at the beginning with Sasha. He does have a major crush and I hope he'll be okay if she doesn't choose him in the end.
- Still think Sasha wins. Sam told his mum when she saw him the first night "I knew he was someone who is meant to be in my life" - that's HUGE. I don't see how she can possibly say that, especially to his family, if she wasn't going to pick him in the end.

From what I saw, I didn't think she was convincing enough with his mum, but agree that's a pretty strong statement and it all points to Sasha. Michael for the longshot, curve ball. I think Michael is the one she's been into the most from the start, hence why she felt fine doing Home Town final four with him. Now that Michael has shown he's a bit keen too, I think she will shed Sasha like an out-of-date coat in due course. She seemed mildly repulsed by his efforts on the Home date, rather than touched or thrilled.
She's starting to pull out all the stuff she used prior to ditching Drew, Kayne, etc, with Richie - clearly prefers her men insensitive, unreadable, and blocklike in their emotional structure - so I can no longer see him lasting. I don't honestly think she's the girl for him, anyway.
My dream would be for Sash to get the flick next. Because guns may be produced if he's ditched at final two.
This probably means old tongue-sarney will 'win' it of course.

Lol. It looks like he's getting desperate. His mum looks like she could find a garotte somewhere too. She'll get a horse head in her bed, that's for sure![]()
all the comments about Sasha's father ... we read this stuff at the very beginning of the show
In the lead up to the show’s premiere Mr Mielczarek has been hyped as Ms Frost’s potential “bad boy”, but that might not be the case.
He is the son of a member of the Rebels bikie gang who lives in Razorback, but Mr Mielczarek said he was raised by his mum and kept separate from the outlaw lifestyle.

“My dad has always kept his kids separate from that side of his life,” he said.
“He’s my dad and I love him and he, along with my mum and stepfather, has made me the man I am today.
“When I go home I see my dad, not a big tough bikie.”
Shows such as Sons of Anarchy have portrayed an often disrespectful relationship between bikers and their ‘old ladies’.
But Mr Mielczarek said the public perceived people’s associations and put them in a category.
The Bachelorette hopeful’s mum raised him to always treat women with respect and to put them on a pedestal.
“When I’m with someone I treat them how they ought to be treated,” he said.
Mr Mielczarek will begin his quest to be Ms Frost’s one true love when The Bachelorette premieres on Channel Ten on September 23.
the promo piece where they showed Sash's mum saying "we wouldn't let just anyone into the family" made it out like she was talking about Sam - lousy editting and manipulation once again because during the actual show last night she was talking about how she felt after separating from Sash's dad - she couldn't just move on with anyone - and because of the bikie connection probably had a very hard time of it
i don't think anyone should judge him on his dad - even his father seems to have tried to distance his sons from all that
Sash seems to have a great bunch of mates and works in a very blokey industry - doesn't mean these guys don't have a softer, vulnerable side or that they are rough or disrespectful
I like both Richie and Sash ... but personally would go for Sash over Richie
Wasn't a huge fan of Richie inviting his mates along to the family dinner either - think that was a bit rude really - its pressure enough to meet the family and that's what its supposed to be about - would have been different if he didn't have any family but he did. And his friends were aggressive in their questioning - came across like they wanted their 5 mins of tv to be memorable rather than actually helpful.
Richie's mum said something last night "you know what I'm like" to Richie ... made it sound like she's been a bit overyly protective when it comes to her children having relationships ...
I think that whole combination (mother and sister overly protective and agressive mates) would have had me hitting the ground running!!!

Agree totally with this.
I mean, who can be held responsible for their parents?
I believe that Sasha has real feelings for Sam and I liked that he put himself in her hands basically.
I also thought it was a bit odd for Richie to invite all his mates to grill her, he didn't even think it was strange. I still like Richie but to me that was a bit emotionally unaware and may have pushed me towards team Sasha. (never thought I would say that).
At this point I even think Michael is genuinely interested.
why not?'And to put them on a pedestal' ? That don't sound right.
it doesn't necessarily mean you can't see imperfections in someone if you put them on a pedestal - just means they are special to you
I think his mum has probably gone out of her way to teach her son's to respect women - nothing wrong with that.
I just think there is some stereotyping going on ... biker dad = bad kid ... and I don't think that's fair
Columbo
Never again
why not?

Because isn't the advice usually not to put women on a pedestal? Putting someone on a pedestal is like the definition of overlooking their imperfections.
This one's for you @Melore ! I know you like Sasha's tongue activities
The Bachelorette’s Sasha dubbed The Iguana after tongue kissing Sam
THE home town visits on The Bachelorette are a chance for the boys’ families to get to know Sam.
But Sasha says his mum has seen enough.
“The thing I found most cringe-worthy was watching (Wednesday night) with the art date and the fact we had that first kiss and there was just heaps of tongue involved,” he told The Heckle podcast.
“I got a message from my mum going ‘What are you doing?’ and I’m like ‘Sorry mum! Sorry about that’.
“I’ve been called ‘the iguana’ this morning at work because of the tongue — the lizard.”
In Thursday night’s episode, Sasha took Sam to Bowral and introduced her to the family. And while it was a little wobbly to start with, the 30-year-old construction manager says she fit in easily.
“At the start it was a little bit weird for my mum and my step dad and my little brother because they haven't been in front of the cameras, but after they got warmed into it, it was very natural, very free flowing,” he told the podcast.
“We had a great time, we laughed, we joked around, we took the piss out of one another which is what we do as a family. And for Sam to just jump in like she did and involve herself and literally just take the piss out of me all night was great.”
The successful home visit to Sasha’s house secured him a spot in the final three along with Michael and Richie.
But Alex wasn’t as lucky. After a tense home visit where his sister put the hard questions to Sam, the 25-year-old financial consultant didn’t receive a rose.

Actually I don't think it means that. I think the danger of putting someone on a pedestal is not overlooking their imperfections, it's the expectation that they have none. It's a long way to fall off for a flawed human.
the thing I didn't like with Michael is that taking her out on the boat was like the over the top Bachelor dates ... and a bit show offyAgree totally with this.

Pick me Pick me!! I have money!! Look where my parents live! and btw I live just across the road!! I already showed you my footy club and reminded you about my footy history ... Pick me Pick me!!
Plus he has that inscrutable, unreadable face ...
The whole writing it on his hand - ffs mate! Open your mouth and TELL her - don't do something childish for the cameras ...
With all the homes last night - after knowing they staged some of the homes in previous Bachelor series it makes me suspicious seeing all these lovely homes. Can't anyone live on a normal suburban block with NO view? and do they all have to look like they're presenting for the next Vogue Living?
I saw some pics of the Bachie pad Sam is living in and for some reason the entrance with steps leading down to the front door reminded me of where Lana's mother lived ... same type of entrance ...
I don't know but I like to think that DESPITE all my myriad imperfections my husband still has me on a pedestal somehow ... that he still believes I'm specialBecause isn't the advice usually not to put women on a pedestal? Putting someone on a pedestal is like the definition of overlooking their imperfections.
I don't think it has to necessarily be a thing you do BLINDLY ...
loving someone unconditionally I guess ...
