The Bachelorette Australia 2016

Also, Sam is no Keira.

Maybe I'm just bored with the rest of the show, but I do laugh at his ridiculously affected persona.

Something I thought was ridiculous last night (though I'm not a girl so maybe I'm missing something vital) was the OTT way Georgia reacted to Courtney messing around and throwing the date. Geez, it must mean he hates you, despite explaining his reasons (though he is a dickhead, that's a better reason why you should get rid of him).
Added to that, her grilling of (one of them), trying to get the names of who isn't taking it seriously, sounded a bit desperate.

He took her on a really bad date and then hugged her. Now he's using noble reasons to avoid one-on-one time. I'd be thinking he's not into her and/or women.

I'm so bored with Rhys (the one she's grilling). And it would be more boring without Sam, so they need to keep Rhys for him to obsess about. But Sam is boring, too!

Well, Georgia seems lovely. Confident, sweet, articulate, fun, well-bred, perhaps a little conservative, yet up for most things the show throws at her. And those gorgeous sparkly blue sapphire eyes. One does wonder, though, whether they might be a little enhanced?

Interesting to see a few little cracks appear. Until now we've been shown an entirely flawless persona with seamless presentation in all situations. Things have been going so well. But, she REALLY didn't like Rhys and Courtney's shenanigans though did she? Not that you'd blame her, however the reaction seemed fairly strong. I wonder if the producers had to calm her down about Courtney? He's one they probably want to keep in for story lines, and possibly one who's not that genuine about Georgia, therefore fairly easy to evict. She 'seemed' very warm and forgiving when she finally gave him that rose.

I suspect there may be quite a control freak with low tolerance levels lurking behind those baby blues. What makes that interesting, is the type of 'true love' Georgia will go for. An equal, or one of the lighter weights? It will be interesting to see how it pans out.

I'm with Georgia, both Courtney and Rhys displayed rather unattractive behaviours in this episode. Obviously throwing a game looks really bad - at least look like you're trying. I'm sure Courtney could have done a good run and still get hit by arrows, kind of arrogant to think that the only way for him to lose is to walk that slowly. As for Rhys, I feel like it's better to not bring up that sort of thing at all unless someone has said or done something that really needs to be brought to Georgia's attention. If he truly believes Georgia is switched on enough to figure things out (as he said), then there isn't a need to say anything, is there? Also, I think Sam is starting to come across as if he's trying too hard to position himself as the witty villain - it's getting a bit old.

Of course, Courtney is not into Georgia. #BacheloretteAU

I think Georgia really likes Courtney and that's why she was upset when it seemed like he wasn't invested in trying to spend time with her. She wants to know that he likes her as she's started liking him.
Personally I don't think it's that Courtney isn't that into her - I think him trying to promote his 'friends' to spend time with Geogia is pure strategy. Case in point Tommy. He knew Tommy was boring af and wasn't Georgia's type therefore pushed for them to spend time together. Hence Tommy leaving. That's why he was trying to do with Ryan (is that his name??) as well. Get them out of the way leaving more room for him.
I think he just didn't realise how it would look to her, and he also seems to want to be in charge of things.

A gentleman or just silly? During Wednesday's challenge, Courtney ruled himself out early so Ryan could have a chance at winning

The winner would get extra one-on-one time with Georgia and she wasn't happy at Courtney's move.

She said to camera during the activity: 'I was totally humiliated by that. All of these guys have made an effort and then Courtney couldn't have cared less. How embarrassing.'

The former TV journalist later pulled Courtney aside ahead of the rose ceremony and told him she was annoyed.

'I'd literally risk life and limb to win Georgia's heart': Bachelorette contestant Matty Johnson reveals he lost a TOOTH during medieval group challenge

The Bachelorette boys were sent in to battle during Wednesday night's group date.

But contestant Matty Johnson took the medieval theme seriously and truly put it all on the line as he fought for Georgia Love's heart.

The marketing manager revealed to the Daily Telegraph he lost a tooth in the line of fire after being knocked by his love rival, Matt Dunne.

Injured in the line of duty: Bachelorette contestant Matty Johnson lost a tooth during Wednesday night's group date challenge as he endeavoured to spend more time with Georgia Love

'I knew I had a knock to the face and I could taste blood in my mouth and that is when I realised my tooth was missing,' he said.

The 29-year-old sheepishly admitted his knight costume did not help him respond to the injury with any sort of bravery.

'It severed across a nerve so I could feel that sensitivity with the air on the nerve. I slightly panicked and made a bit of a scene,' he told the paper.

He was the Italian stallion who entered The Bachelorette mansion as an intruder during Wednesday night's episode.

But Georgia Love has defended her decision to boot model Matteo off the show, saying there's more to the hunk than his model looks and sexy accent.

Appearing on KIIS 101.1 FM's Matt & Meshel show on Thursday, the 27-year-old admitted 31-year-old Matteo 'gave me the creeps'.

Radio presenter Matt Tilley didn't hold back in his line of questioning, asking the reality star: 'Sending Matteo home, are you a racist?'.

A gobsmacked Georgia immediately defended herself, and blamed the show's editing for the backlash she has received for sending Matteo home.

'Matteo, they really really showed nothing of Matteo last night and I mean I didn't get much time with him,' she confessed.

'But everyone was going "Oh he's the beautiful Italian with the accent and everything"... he gave me the creeps a little bit,' she added.

'We shared a room and are actually quite good friends,' he added.

The supposed beef between Sam and Rhys reached peak level during Wednesday night's episode, when Sam declared that he would rather lose to an intruder rather than Rhys.

Rhys too took a joust at his brunette counterpart, revealing to the camera that he would have loved to 'shut Sam up' by hitting him in the mouth with a toy bow-and-arrow.

'Rhys is self-centred and self-minded, and doesn't ask questions about anyone else,' he said.

'I don't converse with him anymore. It's only when he says an inappropriate comment that I'll say something.'

Meanwhile, both Clancy and Rhys enjoyed one-on-one time with Georgia during Wednesday night's episode.

While Clancy's ice-skating rendezvous saw him develop a budding romance with Georgia, Rhys decided to spend his date complaining about the other boys.

I agree about Georgia being into Courtney to some extent, and his actions being entirely strategic. I'm yet to be convinced he has a deeply genuine interest in her though. Sometimes his body language with her sucks.
