The Bachelor Australia 2015

Well to be accurate he fantasy suite is offered to final 3 girls, it's the first time that they'll be able to spend hours together away from the cameras, and so the guy (or girl) can see them be more natural and have conversations they wouldn't necessarily want to have on camera but would help them make their decision.

The sex part is assumed I think but not always accurate and I don't think any of the Aussie guys have.

The Aus version is so tame compared to the last US one I saw lol

I have opinions about what should happen, how far etc.
Especially when someone comes to the end and says it was always a certain person, meaning they knew all along and were just being gratuitous.
There are those who are genuinely conflicted and have feelings for more than one but yeah, if I was the one chosen I wouldn't be happy to see the guy wo just told me that it was always me feeling somebody else up 5 minutes ago.
That's why I just assume it's lana, like how could anyone take him seriously if he was that intimate but then was like oh I want you... Yeah nah. Guess that's why I could never be on this show. I would be that psycho lol

That makes sense.

Back to the quote, involving the shag suite, er, I mean the fantasy suite

“It was a real honour to watch Sam come to a realisation about himself (that the girls are out of his league), be brave enough to accept that realisation and be brave enough to make a shift in his life around that realisation,” Gunsberg toldAAA .

“He will probably redefine what people think an Australian man is capable of and I am very proud to have had a front-row seat to that.”

Are you talking about Australia here? I swear it's only the final 2 that have the option of spending the night with him.

yeah I googled ... and read that on average the Bachelor (in the US I imagine) sleeps with 3 contestants during course of the show ... and one bachelor slept with 5.5 women

wtf is with the .5??? was she asleep so it didn't really count in his eyes?
.5 = she faked it (listen hear buddy - they probably ALL faked it so they could maybe make it to the end with your ego still intact!!!) lol

Well I think that guy had a sock puppet he drew different faces on that counted as different women and a vivid imagination. He wasn't that great.

Normally it's final 3 in the US definitely. Is it final 2 in Australia?
One yeah I remember one girl said no and that's why she didn't make it to final 2. He was a turd.

I just googled season one in Australia. I was wrong. It actually is the final 3 that have the option of being together overnight.

Hmmm...interesting.

From the bits and pieces I've read about the American version, the bach gets to sleep with any of the women at any stage of the show so long as their willing of course. :p

Our aussie bachies must feel a little ripped off about that. :x3:

Pretty sure they can't stop the Aussie bachelors sleeping with whoever they want, whenever they want on the show either. They'd just never show anything or allude to anything happening due to the 7:30 timeslot.

I've read that they are chaperoned the whole time. The Bachelor isn't allowed to interact with the girls unless it's on camera.

From memory, the card is there and they make the decision together. No need for outrage!

And while I didn't watch last season, if I recall correctly the women from the first season seemed disappointed that Tim chose to respect them and wait to do it with his final chosen one, lol.
I know that I'd feel better not having to share Bachelor Junior with several other women in that cloistered environment. That could be a very weird elephant in the room situation, no pun intended.

Heather was never going to win Bachelor

Popular Bachelorette Heather Maltman was never going to get the final red rose and should have gone home earlier, admits The Bachelor Sam Wood.

Maltman made the final four because Wood said she was such great fun to be with, not because he had developed romantic feelings for her.

However, given that she fell for the fitness instructor, he believes, in hindsight, he should have sent Maltman home earlier to protect her emotions.

"I loved Heather's company but knowing she was never going to be someone I could ever fall in love with, I knew it would only be harder if she was down to the final two or three," Wood told AAP.

"Retrospectively, I should have done it (sent her home) a couple of weeks earlier but you are also thinking I have to go on date after date with these girls.

"I'd like to spend time with girls whose company I thoroughly enjoy."

Wood said the social media and public fall-out following Maltman's departure was understandable and he felt bad about sending her home.

He said she was more into him than any other girl he had rejected and that made it more difficult cutting ties with her although she was never a chance of winning.

"Heather is a fantastic girl but I knew from my side she was never going to be anything more than a friend," he said.

The three single women still in search of the final rose are intruder Lana Jeavon-Fellow, sales rep and single mum Snezana Markoski and event manager Sarah Mackay.

Wood will make his final decision on Thursday.

Wow.. very interesting. So why bs on with how he was mesmerised by her on their single date and lead her on? More importantly, him taking her on home visits now seems like even more of a dick move if he supposedly knew all along. What a selfish pig, when she told him to let her go before that if he wasn't sure.
Sounds like he's backtracking right now given Heather's popularity, maybe he feels like she is taking away from his moment.

^^ yeah that article does him no favours at all. It's one thing to not have feelings for, he can't help that, but to knowingly lead her on is a jerk move. Especially after she begged him not to do home visits etc with her if he had doubts. What a dick.

I'd say production had a part in it as well but yeah I knew he wasn't into her about 3/4 through the 1st date.
Not sure why he's laid it on so thick in that article though, he must be sort of pissed that Heather is getting so much attention lol.
