Yeah I didn't mean to tar all the girls as gold diggers but I suspect a lot of them would secretly hope the guy they're fighting over is somewhat loaded.
I'll concede that some of the girls would have other motivations such as Ali from the first season who clearly harboured ambitions of getting an entertainment gig out of being on the show which sadly for her didn't eventuate.
And before anyone accuses me of being a secret fan I knew who Alison Oetjen was from her time on Humphrey Bear and modeling stuff she did years ago prior to being on The Bachelor.
To be honest on a show like the The Bachelor i wouldn't find it unreasonable to think that the guy was a little cashed up. To have 14 women lining up and fighting for one guy is pretty unnatural unless he's a prince or billionaire or something
Ali was such a sweet girl, i believe she really loved Tim too. A bit similar to Jade really, a sweet blonde thing who fell into unreciprocated love quite quickly. Wow imagine Jade on this show. I shouldn't get you started...

I'd love to see Jade as the next bachelorette. Or Tully. Or even Cat if by some strange happening Clawson break up.

Hmm not too sure I agree with the Ali and Jade comparison. On superficial level yeah there were some similarities (Ali supposedly got a little clingy/bunny boiler on the bachelor as Jade did with Ed) but IMO they differed in other aspects of their personality that I won't go into to keep the peace though.
Tully could make for another Bachelor first when she hooks up with another bachelorette - I would love to see the final rose girl go "nah sorry dude, Tully is hotter!"
