This is typical of the Tahan/David stuff that seeks to pass through the tinfoil hats. What T really has going for her is that many young socialmedia savvy types have adopted her and in keeping with voting to save their Popsters/GotTalents know exactly what it takes and how to ensure the vast numbers of voters required. To me it is a huge shame that last years Ben and his "buy the prize team" are not here this year as frankly they would have been blown out within a few weeks and lost the house/car and jewelry that was pawned to grab the quarter mill.

T just has to watch out for the Tim influence as she is now becomming way too smug, a bit like Mikki did (in what is/was shown), in the power plays screened about the house & really Guys remember that BB can dramatically affect the outcome (and our emotions) with this "secret life of the house" that has taken over from the social experiment we all knew and loved.

I'm sure Tahan has a lot of fans who are voting for her.

I'm not one of them, but she's got a chance of winning at this stage. It will probably be herself or Tim.
 
I am pretty sure they have a policy where they disregard exceedingly large votes from single sources.

So unless there's a massive conspiracy...

Look, I like Tahan and have voted for her. I didn't vote last week, but I voted this week. She's good value and to many of us, why she is still there and popular makes total sense.
 
OMG I think it's DISGUSTING that people have money. I mean how dare they. We all know that Terrible Tahan couldn't possibly have fans and that anyone claiming to be a fan of her are only fans because they're captivated by her beauty and nothing else.

As for her rich boyfriend I think it's obvious that he's controlling the game by using his vast wealth. I mean take the eviction crowd tonight for example it's painfully obvious that they only cheered for Tahan because David paid everyone in the crowd $1000 each. No doubt he paid them another $1000 to boo Mikkayla. I mean people don't actually have their own informed opinions.

I'm just so outraged that I'm NEVER watching BB again!

That being said - yes she is being shown in a more positive light as of late. One of the reasons why her popularity has probably increased. I personally don't understand why Tahan's so popular. I also think some people might be a bit ... sheep-like in that they follow what's been preaching. I don't know. I'm not really into media and how things like positive reinforcement (from David) would affect Tahan's popularity overall. I guess we will never know how much impact her family, boyfriend and friends have on the voting but I know that I won't be voting any more. It's disheartening to me. I just don't have the funds to compete with it.

And that's why I said "totally non-scientific popularity tracker". It's not concrete evidence but it's definitely a reflection of the same thing that's happened in other threads on this forum and on FB and Twitter. People have jumped up to support Tahan within the past few weeks and many have abandoned support for Mikk and Jade at the same time and that's being reflected in the votes. You need to remember also that everyone saw what happened with Ben last week. It was mentioned ad nauseam here, there and everywhere by Tahan fans to not assume that she'd be safe because of her % last week and they were voting in force. And many of them also threw votes behind Boog as did many Mikkayla fans in the hopes of getting Tahan out. If anything, that's where Mikkayla fans got it wrong this time.

As [MENTION=33411]Consuela[/MENTION] so humourously pointed out, her boyfriend didn't control that audience tonight and they made it blatantly clear who they were backing and who they wanted out of the house. If people wanted Tahan out of the house her boyfriend wouldn't have been able to stop it.
 
I spend $50 a week to save Tahan. Others do too.

I think it's not the fact that families have money it's that Ed and Tahan's family are offering prizes to those who vote the most. A date with Ed from his family and a lap in a V8 Supercar from Tahan's boyfriend. And I think that's the reason why some are peeved as the others aren't offering these things. But i'm not entirely upset about it or think it's out of line. If you can why not I guess. BB aren't goimg to care. The more money coming in the better.
 
If I promise to vote for Tahan do you think her BF will give me money. This way all the votes won't be coming from the same place. And therefore it won't seem as sus.

I didn't make anything up. Everyone knows Ed has a scheme going and I've been reading a lot lately that maybe Tahan has something going too. I just wanted to know what others think is happening, what basis it has in reality and what opinions they might have. No need to get huffy.

And $50 a week for a struggling student.....dafuq.....
 
Not sure if Tahan is home & hosed yet. I'm sure it will be down to a 2 horse race between Tim and Tahan - that is, IF there is no match fixing going on :p

BB = producers clearly like Tahan, the edits and large amount of aire time on the LIVE feeds is incredibly in favor of Tahan.
Can't see Jade, Maddy, Boogs, or Ed going much further. Drew is liked and so is Tim and Tahan. i'd say those will be the final 3. And a close race between Tim & Tahan.
But there is an issue at the moment, and that is the large amount of votes coming in for Tahan. I think a lot of save votes for Tahan, are coming from Tim fans that are liking her now. This will change once Tim is up, i don't think Tim's fans will be so slow to save him this time. Not like last time thinking he was just naturally safe, so the most save votes went to Tahan.
Tim will win.

I guess when I look at it the fact that they feel the need to try to offer incentives like that leads me to believe they aren't spending these exorbitant amounts that some people assume they are. If they were then there'd be no need to try to entice people to vote. And that's why I think someone like [MENTION=30262]Cass0907[/MENTION] shouldn't get disheartened that their votes don't matter. With vote to save a voter/fan is contending with not only trying to keep their favourite in but fans of other HMs targeting them by throwing votes to the "weakest" HM as we've seen with Heidi, Tully, Ed (although that little bugger has escaped so far but not next time) and now Mikkayla. And now that it's down to 3 HMs on the bench, I reckon the numbers are going to continue to be skewed as long as there is that division in the house although the HMs said tonight they're going to "band together" so we'll have to see how that goes.
