Tahan VS Mikkayla

They can either make the best of friends or the worst of enemies. My favourite is still Tahan though. I don't agree with Black lace's take on Tahan's honesty. But, I know Mikkayla's game plan is to form a clique whereby she can shine and shine she does.

I think we all connect to different people and perceive things in a different way. I started watching this liking Tahan and Mikkayla. It was nice when they were friends. Now I am over both of them due to different reasons. Tahan hasn't come across to me as being honest and straight-forward as she has made herself out to be from the footage of her that I have seen. She really lost me with her imitation of Mikkayla as it really took the argument to a different level, that wasn't required. It took me back to school days, that's how immature it was. Mikkayla with the sisters is boring to watch with all of their negative conversations about the other HM's, but they are not running around promoting how honest and straight forward they are, hence why they get nominated, like Tahan does.
 
What about Mikkayla's mimicry of Tahan? That doesn't count. If you but observe her she is quite the instigator. Too many to relate here, just go watch the live feeds. The first of which, she made a situation worse by being a snitch. I would never do that if I knew it would cause more dischord. But then, Drew and Timothy are also guilty of that. She herself bad mouths Tahan with the girls and to other housemates and some of which have no basis. What I'm saying is that Mikkayla is no better or worse than Tahan. Everyone has their faults. But I reckon most times they get along and then of course there is the heavy editing focusing on the drama and altercations.

Tahan is hotter and more forthright. There for she is automatically the bad person and Mikkayla is innocent of all wrong doing. That's the way the anti-tahanites see it.

I don't know why some people can't get this. She is just mean. It has nothing to do with being hot or confident or burnette or a girl or a sports lover or whatever reason people want to come up with. The reason people don't like Tahan is because she's mean. That's the reason. That's the only reason. Her "ding ding ding" after mocking Mikki and then going on about it in the diary room was just the final straw for me. Even other housemates have had to tell her that her "honesty" is not honesty and that she doesn't seem to realize what she says is rude.
 
Again I'll say this Mikkayla's mimicry of others doesn't count does it? And what about the pee in the pool comment? Me thinks there is some misconception of meanness and nastiness here. So anything that spouts from Jade's, the sisters' and Mikkayla's mouths are the god honest truths and very kind whereas whenever Tahan opens her mouth it is nothing but meaness, dishonesty and nastiness? Give me a break. The bias ness here is just so blatant. I am not blind, Tahan has her faults. Even an honest person holds him or herself back sometimes but not when provoked. Don't they all rant and let off steam in the diary room?!
 
Uh, no. Anything that comes out of anybody's mouth that is mean is mean. If you've read anything I've said in the Jade thread you'd know I am a critic of anything I think is not so good from anybody.

These arguments for Tahan are rediculous. NOBODY said everything out of Tahan is bad and everything out of other people are good. Tahan has great qualities ... but a bad one is that she is mean. She is very mean. She's not ALWAYS mean. And other people are not ALWAYS nice.
 
My point exactly, so what you are also what others say are not mean? For instance that remark abt the warm spot in the pool being Tahan's urine from Mikkayala was said in jest? How mean is very mean?
 
Both Tahan and Mikkayla are equally as bad as each other. Mikkayla labels Tahan as rude and says she talks about housemates behind their backs when in fact she too does the same thing.
 
Time and time again, Tahan has proclaimed herself to be the "honest" and upfront one.
Is this a genuine expression, or is she just attempting to redeem herself for all the
times she actually has said the wrong thing? She's playing the "realist" role.

To be completely honest I am so over this whole Tahan vs. Mikkayla thing. People have taken it way out of context when they are as bad as eachother. People have gone as far as saying Tahan is a bully, Im sorry but that is a load of BS! A bully constantly puts down the victim, literally makes their life a living hell. They usually are the majority and the victim is the minority. And Tahan does not fill this brief at all.

They are as bad as eachother and that's that.
 
I love them both and I don't care that they hate each other. I find them both entertaining and I think they both add to the show. I hope they both make it to the Final 6. Great housemates! They are the best female housemates this year and I would say last year as well.
 
I just can't stand people who use "honesty" or "just telling it like it is" to cover their own arseholery. If you're going to mock someone at least have the guts to own it.

I don't understand what you're talking about here. I'll just say I think of the people on this show like they are teeter totters and I put all their good qualities on one side and all their bad qualities on the other .... if they do good or bad the sides it will rise or fall because it's stacking up good or bad things on either side. Tahan is confident, pretty, ,etc and those are on the good side ... but she's also done some really bad things that have made the teeter totter sink very near the ground where as others are not quite there yet. Her mocking Mikki's eating and weight was just REALLY bad. Mikki saying something rude AFTER being attacked and AFTER Tahan saying in front of everybody "And this is something I don't like about Mikki ....." at the dinner table is still bad .... but not AS bad. But she could still GET worse. But so far she's not as bad as Tahan .. at least not on my playground. And even if she WAS as bad as her .. it doesn't matter. It doesn't make Tahan less bad. Tahan doesn't become good just because somebody else is bad.

The point I've been trying to make is that Tahan is disliked because she's done bad things and is rude and mean. It has nothing to do with her being pretty or whatever. Her rude things pile up and she seems worse with the more she does. Just like Jade seems more crazy with the more crazy things she does or more sweet with the more sweet things she does. Looks has nothing to do with anything.

Some people have said they like her because you always know where you stand with her. But that's not true. She acts friends with Tully and behind her back says she hopes she leaves. And even if you do know where you stand with her ... she wont stand with you! She turns her back on people then cries because she's alone. She makes people feel bad then cries because they want her out. Well no kidding. Who'd want her around? Part of being civilized is acting civil. Not blurting out what you dislike about somebody in front of a room of people ... or mocking them .. or saying people are dumb. Her "honesty" is not actual honesty. It's rudeness. And I wouldn't blame anybody for getting rude with her after putting up with it for so long.

This is all why I don't want her to win. This is a game where you need friends and you need to be tricky .. but all she's done is purposely push people away, make fun of them, want to be alone, hate fake people, etc. She's just going on looks and not playing at all.

I do watch the live feeds and the comments under the vidoes and read about them here as well and comments about them.

We'll have just to agree to disagree I guess. =o)
 
I prefer watching Mikkayla over Tahan. She's hilarious, always pissing the other housemates off, oh and viewers, with her big fat loud mouth. And she has more guts than Drew and Ed put together.
