Rather than take the responsible option, take time from work to look after your sick kitten/take your sick kitten to the vet, you had your boyfriend break your finger so you would not have to work. If you had that finger xrayed and went to the doctor or went onto sickness benefits, you also cost us, the taxpayer, money for your your choices, as well as taking time away from patients who didn't self mutilate to quality for medical care.
What you did was selfish, irresponsible and deluded.
Even on reflection you still have no regrets and can not see the 'normal human thinking' options.

I know it sounds extreme, but it's very sweet.
If I need a doctors note for sick days (which in my current job I don't, I can take sick days without any explanation) I always claim to have severe diarrhea. Neither the doc or my boss is gonna question that, plus it's a funny excuse and I love to laugh at myself. But yeh, doesn't sound anywhere near as sweet as what l.a.r.a did.
