Survivor San Juan Del Sur

I couldn't believe Drew's lack of insight. He kept talking about getting rid of the 'snakes' in the tribe and then proceeded to leap right on into that vipers nest without preparation, knowledge or protection. Silly boy but very funny to watch (in disbelief) as it unfolded.
 
5 episodes in and I am not minding it. Definitely not as good as Cagayan but there is still a long way to go! I am liking Jeremy, Natalie, Josh, Dale, and Keith so far.

I couldn't stop laughing when I saw his alliance turning on Jeremy as I hated Jeremy and that other Josh douchebag who thought they were in charge of the 'game when they clearly were not. Serves them right for getting so ahead of themselves. All the hints that the editors dropped throughout the latest episode pointed to his alliance turning on Jeremy in the next TC, so it did kind of blind side me and a lot of viewers I imagine when they decided to take him out immediately. No complaints from me though, I absolute loved it. I hope either Bailor or Natalie are targeted next, they're my 2 most hated players this season that are still in the game.

I think though that Jon basically screwed himself with this move, they were a group of six with Jon, Jaclyn, Missy, Baylor, Jeremy and Natalie vs. a group of 4 and they are now down to 5 members in their group. Natalie is likely to flip due to Jeremy being voted out, so it will probably now be 5 vs. 4 in the other group's favour.
 
GO REED aND KEITH... Maybe Wes SHOULD HAVE TAKEN THE old mans immunity idol but he made the right call as Keith has a lot more willpower than Wes:)
 
And so now it is four singles vs two couples. For Natalie to have a future she needs to flip the numbers so that the singles have the majority after the next tribal. The only way I can see that happening is to save Reed, who the couples will probably vote for, with her idol, and send John or Muffin home. Otherwise, why wont the couples just ride the majority to the end.

Shame Baylor knows about the idol.
 
I am enjoying this season, but for me Reed is the only one who is standing out. The ease with which most of the others will give up a challenge for a whiff of food and/or their inability to push through the pain indicates that they aren't playing hard enough for this stage of the game. Maybe they are just complacent (Jon & Jaclyn, definately Baylor) but they don't seem very tactical (or bright, to be harsh).

The last two weeks have been good, and the Alex hybris was funnt, and Rocker had his moments, too.

After last night Natalie has become one to watch, too. Very clever play there. And it was hilarious the waynSpitting Keith blew the plan by not knowing Reed was playing everyone besides him...

It is no Cagayan, but it's certainly improved since the merge.
