I dunno I didn't expect a phone call so soon either but supposedly they must look at the videos straight away and that's why they contact the people who could go through to the next stage within a few days. I'm not saying that someone who applied ages ago isn't going to get a call I'm just saying by the sounds of it they are doing it pretty quickly and if you read on the terms and conditions it said must be available from 15th feb-4th of March to maybe meet with producers or something like that. So I would say they will be narrowing down the people they have already Skyped with next week and choosing like 100 to go and have face to face interviews. Anyway I dunno I'm just saying what I think.

Wouldn't it be amazing if Gretel hosted this new Australian Survivor series? That would be epic!!!
Hehe there is probably no chance though and I am sure Gretel would not want to be hosting a primetime reality series again going from previous interviews she did but wow if it did happen it would certainly make me a very happy man!!!

I think it would be fantastic if she did. And it would give the members of my generation an opportunity to appreciate the terrific host she is!

I would love if Gretel hosted exit interviews rather than host the show, she'll fit better in more intimate interviews than leading the show. I miss her exit interviews with BB contestants
 
I'm looking forward to this series, I stopped watching the American version a few years ago. I will definetely consider watching this. I believe they did have one here a while back but apparently it got axed off TV cause everybody was "overly nice" or something, whereas the American is filled with bitchiness and backstabbing. I am looking forward to seeing a homegrown version of this show, thanks ten!
 
Great to see third round auditions are starting to happen. I had my second round skype interview also and now hoping for the next call.
 
Good luck to y'all with the calls :) I saw a post on another forum that they were doing producer meeting at the MCG??? lol but turned out to be fake or something but GL <3!
