Skye: With Leo gone, I'm finding...

@Grillzz I find it fascinating that you don't like The Big Bang Theory.
It's the sort of show that appeals on many different levels.
Let me give you an example:

I remember once I was watching Big Bang Theory with my mother.
Leonard was really upset over some relationship stuff with Penny and turned the TV off.
Sheldon then remarked "Did you just turn off the TV during the classic/Deep Space Nine Trouble with Tribbles crossover episode?"
Leonard tried to explain that he was feeling down and Sheldon could not understand what could possibly be upsetting him so much that he would turn off the TV during such a legendary episode.

My mother and I simultaneously cracked up laughing.
When we discussed it afterwards, we discovered that she was laughing because she thought Sheldon was such a weirdo for complaining about some silly Star Trek thing when Leonard was clearly hurt over real life events. Whereas, I was laughing because I was in complete agreement with Sheldon - ie I don't care what your probelms are, you DO NOT turn off the tv when the classic/Deep Space Nine Trouble with Tribbles crossover episode is on!

We both found the scene funny but for completely different reasons.
 
Well, I don't really watch many comedy shows (if you can't tell lol) but the ones I have enjoyed in the past were The Nanny, as I said earlier, and I don't mind some of the adult cartoons such as Family Guy, American Dad, even South Park, although I haven't watched it in ages. I liked some of the sketch shows such as The Sketch Show, A Bit Of Fry & Laurie, Fast Forward/Full Frontal, absolutely loved D-Gen's The Late Show (still miss it), The Big Gig, DAAS Kapital, didn't mind Red Dwarf, see - my sense of humour is more Aus/Brit than US. I'm more into shows such as Law & Order, and don't mind the A&E channel (get a few laughs from Storage Wars, even a few from Duck Dynasty). It's funny, I seem to watch shows hardly anyone else I know does, and can't really have conversations with others about them (no one I know watches BB, well, people I know that I see everyday, anyway. Have a couple of interstate friends on Facebook who watch that I talk to occasionally about it), and all the popular shows, I don't watch. I guess I'm just weird lol.

that made me think of the time that Sandra and Leo pashed in the spa in front of David, and when Skye and Aisha returned from the Sanctuary Suite the next day, Leo told her that he made out with Sandra...maybe Skye will tell Leo that she made out with Ryan while he was gone? lol


I don't think Ryan and Skye would turn into a new couple, but maybe a party pash, if Skye made the moves?

When you are smitten with someone & completely
devoted, you say that sort of thing to your lover ONLY if you share complete disclosure and have no secrets.
You most certainly do not say such a thing to a 3rd party; who may not misconstue BUT the person they tell may!
This is a wandering eye; unhealthy

leo didnt merely say sandra was cute, he full on made out with her in front of the entire house (and not a single tear was shed).

Skye obviously loves the D. She's gone from Jake to Travis (if Aisha hadnt come along) to Leo to Richard and now Ryan. Not picky. I'm pretty sure she's mentioned Dave too when he shaved his beard.

That might be interesting - see if Leo was okay with it \expose a double standard \get people talking.

This thread has been based on a snipet from an ad - maybe channel nine can save money like this every day.... We don't to air the thing anymore, just snippets, during ad breaks for Big Bang Theory and The Block - shows that actually matter.
