Nail on head. I think this is an issue for many young women. Skye is clearly smarter than she views herself.

When I saw her little introductory clip in the opening episode I initially found her annoying, especially when she made a throwaway ditzy comment about not liking politics. I hate it when attractive girls deliberately downplay their own intelligence to get noticed. Of course, it's much more complex than that, it's - dare I say it - a feminist issue that controls and impacts the way many young girls grow up and see themselves in the world.

Skye's insecurities allow her to hide behind a cutesy façade that will only see her so far, but she IS smart and I think the BB experience has been good for her. In the first few weeks she was very fragile and capricious but recently she seems made of sterner stuff. I hope at some point her inner confidence kicks in and she soars.
 
I don't know that she will win, but she is the housemate who makes me smile and laugh the most. I enjoy watching her more than anyone else and I hope she stays in the house for a long time if she doesn't win.

Yes, she was so pretty without the makeup. I couldn't believe how beautiful she looked. One you can take seriously the other one not. She is amongst my favorite, she was my favorite before, now she is just amongst a few HMs I like a lot.

That looks completely doctored. She wears horrendous lipstick but not that color and she is really precise about how she applies it. There is a distinct line down the middle of her forehead. Seems awfully mean-spirited.

Her whole forehead is lighter than the rest of her face. It's from wearing a hat in the sun ;)
 
i wouldnt be a bit surprised if she let leo put makeup on her. i suspect my avatar pic has a similar backstory.
funnily enough, for all the stick she gets for 'vanity' she seemed happy enough to wear that blue paint all morning.

looks like poorly applied concealer rather than a tan. a gc girl would know better than to get a hat tan.

You put concealer on your whole forehead?! Lol

We've seen her out there many times with the black leather cap on and other hats. They have no sunglasses in the house. It's no big deal. It's just not a doctored pic as was suggested.

no, the concealer is on her lower face. on her cheeks.

haha I just edited my post to say they can't have sunglasses in the house. So yeah I imagine she is going Tupac style or was at least until she ended up with hat tan lol.
 
I loved the way Skye handled her nominations last night. Compared to how ill-prepared she was at the start, now she's like a cool hit-woman: - straight in there and tick, tick, BOOM, hmmm'kay, thanks.
