Showdown Moves to Thursday next week!

Aww poor Shelley just lost a week's worth. That girl is so underexposed on Nine! It's simply not fair.
 
They did this because of scheduling with Shelley and the 2 Mikes. Having to fly from Sydney and Gold Coast to prove they were in the same place proved too much of a hassle.
 
Does this mean we are going to lose more daily show time thou? The HMs may as well be allowed to go home for the weekends then!
 
i don't care what day they put it on. shitty hosts, uninteresting games, and another hour of television NOT telling us what's happening in the house. no reason to watch it.

Yeah, we better not. Even though it wasn't games in an arena they still did the games last year and played them in the daily show. Remember how they would win a trip to the captains quarters from them? They might do similar to that.
 
who the hell would want to win showdown knowing they they're gonna have to swap a nominee?
no way in hell would I want to unless I was completely being strategic...

I'd be willing and wanting to do it if I meant I got $5,000.

Yes, you're actually right - tonight was the last night of the $5000 but BB did say that from next time winning showdown will be more important than ever (whatever that means)

Most likely they are just referring to the winner of the Showdown being able to save a nominee.
 
Goldman tweets that Showdown is moving to Wednesday. This comes after he originally tweeted that Confidential was to be on Thursday :p.

I don't think Channel9 even give a memo to the BB staff when BB is on! :rolleyes:;)
 
He'll probably record it on Wednesday, broadcast on Thursday. Hopefully they cut it down to half an hour.

Yes, definitely recorded on Wednesday evening and then broadcast on Thursday - I presume that it will just be a 1 hour show with 1/2 hour showdown (that's if Shelley/Mike x 2 are not involved - they drag the show on)
 
I'd imagine they'll keep both Mikes. The show can easily be put together without Shelly, especially if it's recorded and especially if it's cut down to 30 minutes.
