Sam and Sandra

You may have felt like cringing seeing Sandra admit to Sam "you're always gonna be someone else's" but how does the "someone else" feel? We asked Sam's girlfriend Michaela what she was thinking as she watched Sandra admit she has a crush on her man.
“It took a while to process and it is a very uncomfortable situation,” admitted Michaela, “But I have had a lot of support from his family and friends and I know him well enough to know he wouldn’t do anything stupid. I have enough confidence in him to know that.” Michaela added that she was actually please to see his bond form with Sandra. “When I first started watching I was really happy about the friendship because it was someone he could lean on.”

Naturally, seeing Sandra’s crush evolve has been a bit of a challenge to watch, but Michaela was graceful in acknowledging Sam is handling things as best he can. “He is very compassionate and it would be hard for him to let [Sandra] down,” she explained. “But I am just not into… if someone’s taken, someone’s taken. Obviously that makes me uncomfortable but I don’t dislike her and if Sam likes her, I trust his judgment. They are in artificial circumstances which exacerbates the situation.”

When asked if the two had established boundaries before he entered the House, Michaela explained: “[Before he left], he just tried to reassure me he would behave. The problem is that his version of behaving and others’ version of behaving are quite different!” She laughed. “Sam is very affectionate – whether it’s a guy or girl, he treats people the same and that will be hard for the public to interpret.”

Thanks for posting, Veronica. It seems his girlfriend also knows perception is everything. She also said what many of us did. It just plain ol' uncomfortable. Hearing Sandra say she doesn't think she's crossed the line really made me shake my head. And her reaction to thinking he'd chosen her for the sanctuary did as well. I REALLYYYYYYYYY don't get why Sam couldn't tell her bringing her to the sanctuary would be unfair to his girlfriend. That made no sense to me.
That said, it was good to hear Sam's thoughts today. It will be very interesting how he handles her from now on.

I feel bad for her. I think Priya was right when she said Sandra is relying too much on Sam. The fact that she cried because he did not pick her to go into the suite with him is alarming.

From the eviction show where he backed off from hugging her I would guess his talk with Ryan sank in.
Honestly, this is so awkward that I hope BB lets him take her aside off camera to tell her it isn't going to happen and she just shuts up about it.

No offense to Sandra but Sam's girl is smokin' hot.

And that intrinsically makes her better? Who knows how Sam really feels. Beauty and attraction is subjective.

BBAU obviously love these cheating scandals, but part of me wishes they'd just put all singles in the house for the sake of everyone's sanity.

Not saying that all, obviously every guy is different but I can't pretend to say that looks isn't an important factor for most guys in picking a partner.

If 2 girls are equally compatible personality-wise with a guy, he'll go with the better looking one 99/100 times.

Just shows how completely ridiculous she is. It would be wildly inappropriate for a taken dude to spend a 1 on 1 night with someone who has a crippling crush on him - unfair on both of them. She should have understood this as really really basic logic, but instead cried and felt sorry for herself. Pretty lame.

This crush will end her unless she grows up quickly.

I thought Sam's gf handled that really well. Thanks for posting @Veronica2005 :)

I thought it was hilarious that Sandra was confiding in Lawson.

It was deliberate. She's well aware Lawson & Sam are besties and that telling him would lead to him telling Sam. She wanted him to find out. In fact she said exactly that "I have a huge crush on Sam... I don't mind if you tell him."

I see it as more of a "mate" thing from Sam, he hasn't done anything wrong. But I think Sandra is coming across quite desperate/pathetic, she needs to back off or she'll get nominated/evicted because of it.

Even if Sam was single i can't see those 2 together.
