It is why I'm somewhat surprised her family/friends haven't asked bb to tell her what Tahlia has done, and see if she wants to leave the house to try and fix any of that up before she falls into a deeper hole with this Drully stuff.

I don't think that's an option though. The concept of BB is dependent on the HMs having no contact or communication with the outside world. I know the HMs are allowed to create a short list prior to entering the show about what they do want to be updated on - ie a loved one's death - but I'm guessing Tully didn't explicitly state she'd want to be told if her girlfriend ended the relationship, hence BB keeping mum on the issue.

I think I just need to avoid Tully threads lol, because both extremes upset me. I don't like seeing her "fans" defend what she's doing with Drew, or pretend it's nothing, or deny the fact it's hurting someone on the outside. Agree. I'm glad Alex hasn't just ignored it either - I'm assuming the first one was a comment on the I hate Tully page.

I was actually thinking about that the other day, as to whether even if her family and friends had concerns and made the request for her to be told or to take her out, whether it would be heeded? Legitimate question. Obviously there are cases where family and friends are able to request information to be given ie. last year with Josh and the death of his brother. But in general, the contestants are adults and have volunteered for the experience and all that comes with it, and would have signed contracts which in sure include some sort of waiver so that the show can not be sued for portraying them in a certain way and that the contestants accept liability for their behaviour and any consequences. So I'm not even sure that family and friends could request removal or give her information about things on the outside that are a direct response to her behaviour and portrayal on the show. Of course when a family member dies or something else happens that isn't a result of anything happening in the show, then it would be different. But given that this is a result of her behaviour and portrayal on the show, and passing that information along would be changing her 'game plan' and behaviour on the show, which she as an adult, volunteered for, I'm not sure family and friends would have much say.

I am surprised though, that she passed a psych evaluation, and even more so, that her behaviour hasn't raised concerns with the psych team that apparently are viewing the contestants 24/7 and will intervene if there is anything psychologically damaging happening.

Ok. Alright. Yeah... I am absolutely gobsmacked at this. Who is responsible for the footage being shown? Who is responsible for monitoring the fan pages? Who is responsible for allowing this girl to humiliate her GF on national TV? Back off Alex... You made the mess, now you can either lose the ratings or TAKE SOME RESPONSIBILITY for cashing in on a mentally unstable HM. She will be absolutely furious that she was not informed of the GF breakup. That is yours to wear.
 
Its people who are obsessed with her and jealous of her that start these pages. Theres no other pages on any of the other HM that go as far as this one does. It's disgusting and the owner should be charged.

The psych's are turning a blind eye to the whole thing IMO. As I said a week ago, BB has crossed the line here and in saying that, I am not being melodramatic, just factual. I think Alex should be more concerned about the legal backlash from Tahlia... I'd be suing for damages.

Yeah, that too. I've heard time and time again that they get checked over with some sort of tests, and there are psychs on hand (Carmel still around? She used to pop up quite often with Gretel) but in every series I've seen I don't think there has ever been someone who has acted as though they need to be with another basically 24/7. So what is Tullys issue?

Tully says she's not a couple with drew and that all is fine, but even genuine couples in past series weren't so dependent on each other all the time and could spend time apart. The way Tully acts sometimes is that if she doesn't have drew beside her she won't be able to survive.

I guess the other possibility is that the psychs have tried to talk to her but she says she's fine. BB wouldn't admit to that because it gives credence to the opinion that she isn't stable, which they adamantly deny (going by the article that was posted in the media thread). Of course this is pure speculation without any evidence at all.

As to the psychologist, it's not Carmel but someone with a name like sugar or bunny or something porn star sounding lol.

Dude, just don't go look at that shit. Seriously. I'm the first to admit I can't stand Tully but even I wouldn't venture over to a FB page devoted to hating someone. There is absolutely zero moderation like there is here - although I suspect the level of intelligence and even just the age of people commenting here is much higher than you'd find there anyway. Yeah if I were her I probably wouldn't be able to resist taking a peek but she's a social media strategist... she'll know the deal with FB and how it's like the pussy fart of the Internet. She's an absolute trainwreck, a cheat, and quite frankly a manipulative cow but I do give her enough credit to know to disregard that shit. If not then she shouldn't have her job.
 
Alex Mavroidakis is a self-righteous hypocrite. If he was so morally and ethically opposed to the exploitation of innocent reality show contestants and their exposure to public crucifixion via social media, why is he happily employed by Big Brother and enjoying the lifestyle it affords and not digging wells in Tanzania?

And dedicating the majority of the show to footage that promotes reasons for people to get passionate is hardly the work of the moral defender.

I've met the guy in person - he's as passionate about the show and getting it to work as the rest of us, and shock horror - he actually does give two shits about the housemates as human beings.
