Reddit production tea

I’m hesitant about the first one, there are clear AI patterns. The second one I believe.

I feel sorry for those production staff who were super keen about OG and were handling the YouTube streams early on. Classic story of passionate people being held back by a boss who lacks insight, skill and creativity.

But yeesh 2 new intruders when there’s only 2 weeks to go and we’ve only had 1 eviction? Even the most casual / dumb viewers are going to get whiplash from the amount of evictions that are going to take place.

More evictions = more clunky cringey live shows.

Honestly this bit sounds exactly like something Claude AI would say:
That’s not organic reality TV — that’s steered storytelling.

If they are real, I theorise that the first one ran their post through ChatGPT or something to avoid creating any connection to their real identity. With the second deciding to come forward as a result of the first. The content itself feels a little too plausible (unless it’s just wishful thinking on my/our behalf) and the two posts seem to be interlinked.

Both posts seem like they could be easily faked just from watching the livestream and reading fan speculation but that doesn’t mean I don’t believe something like that could be true.

What's an em dash or en dash?

I'm old 🤣

en dash is similar to your classic hyphen - and made using the Minus button on your keyboard.

to get the Em dash you need to use ctrl alt Minus on the Numpad — and Humans just don't ever use them. If you see a big block of Text with a long dash in it, Its been run through an AI software at some point.

And if you believe anything off a random post off Reddit, you might be more delusional than Mia.

Some people learnt about grammar annd syntax at school and understand the value of an Em dash; sadly they are going the way of an apostrophe and losing all meaning. But I digress.

It definitely reads as believable. They need to provide us with a smoking gun here. Surely there won’t be intruders, some being on standby feels… suss? But hey, if they update that they are definitely going in before it’s publicly announced then I’ll believe it all.

Again, what are said posters achieving by posting allegedly fake information?

Exactly this. It seems believable to me but this is partly from watching the show and the live streams, so would be easy to create this narrative. There is nothing there that hasn’t already been speculated on.

To play devil’s advocate, I’ve been following the filming of the new HBO Harry Potter series, on Reddit specifically, and - while there’s occasionally real production leaks filtering in from discreet crew posting there - I’ve also seen a fair share of people swan in, post info that everyone believes for a couple weeks before they’re disproven as a fake just wanting attention. The internet is a manic place. So it’s not entirely impossible.

Really, the ultimate question remains. Why do they need to feel they have to manufacture a show that is airing live, 24/7, including the stupid Saturday "rest day"? What is the point of designing their show around a random talentless influencer chick with the personality of a wet mop? Why not let the show organically create its own content with minimal interference like it used to be? How did we get from the pre-season promo promises to this? Something smells rotten and some people higher up in the production chain need firing or assigning to different shows that meet their creative vision.

I saw the post and I can believe that everything is on a skeleton crew and that things are in shambles. Producing television is chaos. What I call bullshit on as far as the second post's legitimacy goes is that they mention that they are entertaining the idea of intruders. I can't imagine that decision would be up in the air at this point with the finale so soon and so many housemates left to evict.
Also, I don't know why some young producer would go to reddit to vent this during production. The industry is much too small for you to get back on your feet if you've fucked this up by doing something like this and get caught.

Easiest way to verify if either of those posters is crew - ask them to reveal how the phone call relates to the twist within the next 24 hours.

Surely it'd be too difficult to pivot if it was leaked now.

It's sad if this is true. It kind of ties in with the whole OG hype to then get a logo change and 7 era/Love Island style editing, with live shows that are ultimately a waste of time and talent for Mel (because she deserves so much better). I guess we'll find out if it's legit if 2 new intruders show up next week.

To be fair, the OP on there said they’re on standby to go in - they’re not guaranteed to enter.

But yes, if two intruders enter it more or less validates the claims.
