You can't compare directly to the US. Viewers don't vote for the evicted housemates. Plus the show is considered trash.
Plus the avid fans who watch on the live feeds( which they pay for) can always figure out who wins head of household, power of veto and who is nominated well before it airs.
Plus the show has none of the charm of the Australian show.
Plus the house is awful in comparison.
I think the big brother Australia format might work in the US but people are not going to pay to vote week after week. So voting would have to be free.
My point is that they are so different that comparing them might not be that valuable.
