Her standup comedy was pretty sound. Intelligent jokes at parts (i.e. dating a pizza boy, librarian, Malaysian pilot, etc), but ordinary at other parts, though still not bad. For a 'rising' comedienne (or whatever she is) she is alright really.

too far antigretel, too far. madonna is allowed to have an opinion just like the rest of us, to compare her to people that behead for shits and giggles in the name of a god is just wrong.
 
I give anyone credit for putting themselves out there. Comedy is rough. I did think that instead of "a joke about Gemma would be too long" that I would have used "A joke about Gemma would be pointless as it would go over your heads" But maybe that is why I am not a comedian. :D
 
I haven't seen this past weeks episodes yet but i'm sure when i see this piece... i'm going to be ROTFL.... coz unlike you .. i have seen the light.... So it's all good.. knock youself out........

Calligal i agree with this 10000%
However, what i do not agree with is copycat material from other comedians or sitcoms.


If the housemates had a talent night next week and one of them stood up and re told the gemma joke word for word, and everyone hearing it for 1st time applauded their humour, would u not say, "hang on, Priya used that already!!"

That is what i'm against

Her decision to put herself out there takes ballz; no doubt

Just be original.

I touched on this 'topic' earlier and apparently the incessant hissing is some sort of medical condition.
 
I thought Priya's routine was quite good. Comedians usually take a long time together to put together a show, whereas Priya made up all those jokes up, about the house, while she has been inside the house. It wasn't hilarious, but it was enough to raise a smile.
