Priya herself said she has no problem celebrating Christmas. Do you not realize the whole Prisus, Pristanity, hale Priya, ect... Is something started in jest? Are you really so humorless that you can't appreciate so many people having the same sense of fun. I think Priya will absolutely see the humor. If we had all liked Skye, it would have probably worked out the same. She would have been Skyesus. It puzzles me why people have to be so rude and horrible about something so basically harmless. If you don't want to read good things about Priya, stay away! There are plenty of other threads that praise your favorite, whomever that might be. Or where Priya hate is welcome. Go to one of them.

I didn't like David, do I go into the DAVID appreciation thread and expect my opinion to be heard fairly amidst David fans? of course not.
So you've established you don't like the Priya fan base, congrats, just move on! The appreciation thread will always be about appreciating Priya - there are plenty of other threads you can speak negatively about her in - by all means keep commenting it shows how PRISESED you are with her.

I came here to confirm my suspicion that Priya fans must be batshit crazy housewives, and that has been confirmed.

This thread has been such fun! I don't understand why people can't just have a good laugh and admire the artwork and enjoy the absurdity of it all, whether or not they are an appreciator. It's the best thing about BB14. And Priya is the best housemate of 2014, and one of my alltime faves. So I'm thrilled she's still in, other people like her, and witty people have made this place so much fun to be in.

If people are really wanting to wallow in picking the wings off Priya, they should buzz over to Reality Ravings instead of poking sticks in here. Birds of a feather, and all that.

Part 3 of why I love Prisus:

Priya is by far the most intelligent of the housemates. Her gameplay so far has been brilliant. I refer you to when she was voted Head of House by the public. When she was playing her Dirty Dozen nominations superpower, instead of asking to have numerous names revealed to her at the cost of one point each, she distributed her points one at a time to numerous housemates and watched the board, thus gaining a picture of where those housemates were anyway. After finding that she was the most nominated housemate that week, and so unable to save herself - something that wouldn't have happened without David's unpunished nominations talk by the way - with her only instinct being survival, managed to get seven people nominated to reduce her chances of leaving. Flawlessly executed and 100% effective. I like that she is able to think on her feet so quickly, like when she had to make up a reason for Aisha to be offered $20 000 to leave. Being the most intelligent housemate, she could easily have been rude and condescending to some of the less educated housemates, but instead she has taken it upon herself to try to teach Skye and Travis better English and elocution, and is considered by them to be one of their best friends. The only person who has actually had a problem with her was David, and that was due to his own issues - many of Priya's students have come on social media and stated that Priya is NOTHING like what David perceived her as. In short, Priya is a great role model, and her intelligence, her hard work for her education, and her gameplay should be praised and rewarded.

I don't think she's super intelligent. What I see is a combination of intelligence, with incredible focus on strategy and an element of ruthlessness. That's the only reason that other smart housemates like Richard and David don't do the same things as her. David could have tried to get ryan evicted with his power play but chose not to because he is a mate, and I think that is to be respected. Don't know why you're so appreciative of someone who will stop at nothing to win, including backstabbing, acting and forgetting to be entertaining for the audience.

To me, she revealed herself to be of so-so intelligence in some of her arguments. E.g. Not realising she was being hypocritical in the whole condescending argument with David. But hey, maybe she did realise and was simply trying to get one over on the audience, but that isn't particularly tasteful either.

Priya is the underdog of the series. She was made out to be a villain at the beginning of the series, and forced to dress up in traditional Indian dress just to highlight the fact that she is not the usual anglo-saxan housemate, despite the fact that she rarely dresses like that at home. She has also been nominated for eviction more than any other housemate. Despite all of this though, she has taken it in her stride, and as such we have been witness to a Cinderella story with the underdog becoming the mother and the heart of the Big Brothet house. Another thing that haters fail to realise is that Priyas fans KNOW she back stabs. There have been times she's done stuff and I've cringed.
No one is perfect... And nobody is saying she's a genius. But she sure is one of the most intelligent housemates.

But you'll see fans of other housemates defend them with one eye.

However we love her because she's unapologetically Priya
