Yeah agreed, watching Kids was an uncomfortable experience. Also up there is the rape scene in Once were warriors - found that hard to watch too.

I should also clarify, that my smiley in the previous post was more a 'you're totally right, Irreversible is many steps beyond palatable from my perspective'. I realised after the ten minute edit window, that the smiley was rather poorly placed and wasn't intended to make light of the conversation topic.

Rewatching the 2013 series it is clear to me that Tully is really good at this social media stuff (well she is a social media strategist so i suppose she is good at that.).

MODEL Tahan Lew-Fatt has gone one step further than just throwing support behind her V8 Supercar driver boyfriend David Reynolds in the wake of his controversial “pussy wagon” slur during the Bathurst 1000.

Reynolds made headlines around the country when he used the derogatory term towards the all-women pairing of Renee Gracie and Simona de Silvestro in the Great Race.

The 30-year-old was fined $25,000 for the inappropriate remark, and former Big Brother runner-up Lew-Fatt has spoken out in defence of her beau.

“Ok so whoever has seen the news re my gorgeous ‘apparently sexist’ boyfriend David Reynolds he made an off handed comment that wasn’t even mean!!” Lew-Fatt claimed on Facebook.

She then went on to paint a picture of a man who would do anything for his girl.

“My boyfriend is the furthest from sexist ... He makes me breakfast every morning and cooks me dinner every night and pretty sure he is the only one who cleans.”

Lew-Fatt went as far as to suggest people should donate money to help Reynolds pay off his hefty debt, and that he had requested the money be donated to a women’s empowerment charity.

“If anyone and anyone can donate towards the 25k fine that would be greatly appreciated he has requested that the V8’s donate the money towards some sort of woman empowerment charity!!” Lew-Fatt continued.

“Even if you can donate $1 that would make a difference.”

Gracie and de Silvestro were up against it from the start, branded a million to one shot to finish the race by legend Dick Johnson.

Gracie fired back at the time with: “Dick Johnson hasn’t finished heaps of races so he can’t talk,” but her comments would come back to bite her as she crashed into the wall at Mount Panorama on Sunday.

The incident was caused by a slide on spilled fluid on the track on lap 15 of 161, but Gracie could not hide her disappointment in the garage, fighting back tears.

“There was bloody fluid on the road and I’m in the wall. I’m so sorry,” Gracie told race engineer Paul Ceprnich on the team radio after the incident.

“I’m coming back to the pits now. The steering’s stuffed.”

She added later: “It’s a bit disappointing. We were off to a great start, had a great strategy and I caught the guys pretty quickly.

“But unfortunately I was the first who caught the oil and found the wall.”

It appeared as though their race was over, but the Ford surprisingly made its way back onto the track within a 55-lap deadline, drawing huge applause in the team garage.

Reynolds turned around the controversial start to the week by first apologising for the slur and then winning pole on Saturday. He joked with reporters after qualifying that they should from now on refer to him as “David ‘No Comment’ Reynolds’”.

He finished sixth on Sunday.

Typical Daily Fail, her comment was on the 9th and they only publish the article today on the 12th to cause shit. And Tahan is more than a "model"

what gets me with it though is first they ask for donations to pay the $25K fine ... but then turn around and say they'll donate the money to charity?? so his fans who want to help HIM out see their money being redirected ... they might be fine with where its going but some may have a charity they'd rather choose for their money to go to ...

I know it was a fan that set the crowd funding up - and they probably dont want to or arent allowed to use the money for the fine so have to do something with it ...

when a crowd fund is set up - is the money funnelled direct to the person who sets it up - into their own bank account or is it held in some sort of trust ? these things always make me a little suspicious about how they work ... just curious to know ...

Almost 2,000 donated already. Good luck to him. Glad he has people who support him.

@crimmy the link has stopped working again for me tonight, over 3 hours now. He was saying he was going to donate it to a "woman empowerment charity" before the gofundme came out. BTW the concept of a woman empowering 'charity' is probably more sexist than his previous comments
