I think @crimmy is on the right track but I'd make a sizeable bet that it's Ed's white sleeve and not grass that's peeking through the gap.

EXCEPT if you look at the image close up the shading of her chin is interferred with ... Ed's sleeve or the grass would not interfere with that

there's been some jiggery pokery fkery happening with that image OR there was something on the lens

She does shave doesn't she. Saw a picture of her shaving with Ed once, so maybe she cut herself whilst shaving and used a bit of toilet paper to stop the bleeding?.
