I'm happy they got freebies after being on the show. This writer just sounds jealous to me. Jealous they weren't on tv, jealous they didn't get any freebies to do their 'good deed' with of giving to a 'needy person'.

As for selling the phone, who freaking cares? It was her phone to do with as she pleased. Perhaps she already had a phone and didn't need the second one and perhaps she needed cash to pay her bills? I don't see the problem here except some sanctimonious asshole had nothing else to write about and the deadline was looming.
