No offense but I have to respectfully disagree on that. It really is a debatable assertion at least when it comes to defending and making up excuses for ryan's bs that is. :angelic: :p

It was a joke. :) I'm sure that people irl always come to you for impartial advice on any pressing matter.

Regardless I still think you're been blinded by ryan's pretty surfer boy's good looks. Something tells me you wouldn't immediately give someone you didn't personally like the benefit of the doubt for expressing similar sentiments.

You're accusing me of 'projecting' (of what I have no idea) well there are 2 fingers pointing right back at ya when you do that. :)

Did you miss my post where I stated I wasn't a Ryan fan?

(I don't like his looks - I prefer dark, masculine men). I base my opinions of individual acts on the context of that act - not on my opinion of the person.

Again that was NOT intended as insult just me teasing. :)

Can't say I empathise since I would never go out of my way to stick up for someone over something as trivial as this and I (erroneously) assumed only his devoted fans of his would bother.

It's a subjective perception thing, let's agree to disagree that nobody is wrong and leave it at that. :)

On the subject of the I'll ride with you hashtag - which I think is a wonderful show of support for acceptance and unity - I was disappointed to find out that it was based on an assumption made from a distance by the girl who started it, not a fact.

“She might not even be Muslim or she could have just been warm” Jacobs later admitted.

“Our near silent encounter was over in a moment.”

Hopefully this won't affect the sentiment of inclusion and acceptance that it has generated
 
Lol the hilarious irony of the situation is that I couldn't give a toss about Ryan one way or another and it seems @smurfette is the same.

I'm far from taken with Ryan's looks either. Not my type...evidenced by the fact that my favourite HM this year was also a dude...one that looks the complete opposite of Ryan.

On the other hand Con it seems you've found yet another HM to have an obsessive hate for and are using such a non-issue to keep pushing your agenda. When someone doesn't agree with your agenda, like clockwork you're trying to dismiss others opinions by saying they're blinded by his looks, etc.

Watching this forum is like my version of watching big brother housemates. I had little access to Internet during the actual show, (I am out of the country), and I haven't gone back to watch them. I've perhaps seen 2.5 hours in total of this season. So I haven't been able to get influenced by their portrayal of themselves via channel nine. Only by your guys portrayal of them. And of course their tweets posted here, since they got out. So I don't know if Ryan is a pretty boy surfer or a pretentious wealthy wanker. Possibly both?!

I agree the I don't like public transport but was unnecessary and even a bit inappropriate. But it doesn't seem unforgivable for an individual who is addicted to social media in a slightly stressed scenario to be clumsy in their attempted support. It may have been a bit self absorbed but aren't most of the housemates? (And most humans?) From an outsiders view I dont think The Jury has enough to convict. But he will nöt be nominales for Most Inspirational Tweet either. He may even learn from the feedback on it? If he gets any. I think tweeting in most cases doesn't do that much for personal development! It does seem to foster self absorption. And bandwagons. Although bandwagons obviously precede tweets, so...

This is a super attractive picture of @reallifedave and I trying to work out our new years eve plans. Dave suggested a slow cooker and a shandy @tommackay11@sbramham@ryanginns but I thought we should do something bigger. So far all we've got is Sydney. Please submit suggestions.
