Is his hair supposed to be wet or greasy?

Hey @Veronica2005 You are a hands down superstar. Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into collating all that info. I really appreciate it and I'm sure there are many more lurkers that frequent this thread that think the same. There should be a speccies category for Best Intel Officer. Thanks again, you rock my world :)

I don't care. Isn't that the look these days? Greasy chic (my words)? I reckon a head of clean shiny locks is better anyway but as he's Drew... lol. That was one thing that bothered me about the female hms and I've said it before. Their hair never looked washed enough, except Sandra's and Priya's.

I have long hair and whenever I go to a new hairdressers I always get the questions about how often I wash it, and get told I overwash my hair, and it only should be washed once a week at the most - no way could I handle how greasy my hair and dull my hair would look! Besides, how the hell do you have a satisfying shower and not get long hair wet unless you used a shower cap, which my hair falls out of half the time if I try!

I am sure some people can get away with once a week and their hair still looks good, but I don't think a one size fits all approach works for hair!

Sorry rant over!

I think that's because of the limited hot water time that bb gave us

I also have long hair, it's dry and I probably overwash it too but it's thick and I get sweaty so I won't leave it more than three days maximum. Now that I'm back on day shifts I'll probably be more regular in my washing habits, but I'm getting it cut this week so who knows what length it will be. I just have a thing about greasy looking hair. I agree that one size doesn't fit all, same with skin regimes. It's when it looks like it's sticking to the head that it's a bit much.

Fair enough and longer hair takes longer to wash and especially rinse. In all fairness I forgot about that side of it. Actually Gemma your hair always looked good. You tied it back or up which protected it a bit too?

20 mins once per day mostly... Sometimes not at all and sometimes 2 times a day to shower 16 people with 4 showers available

That's no time really with so many people.I agree with @Khun Khun though. Your hair always looked clean. Maybe you didn't douse it with so much "post shower" product that others did? Also noticed you weren't mirror conscious all the time. Good thing IMO. I wish both you and Katie had been in the house a lot longer than you were. :( It sucks that the public didn't really have a say about your eviction.

Once a week, I couldn't manage either. Twice would be my absolute minimum. That hair smell for a start, yikes.

Saying that Skye looks like she's 50 when she's caked herself up silly is going overboard simply to make a point about how unflattering it is. lol

That said to me she does appear like she's between her late 20s and early 30s with the ridiculous amount of make up she applies on herself.

Someone needs to sit her down and set the record straight with her that the 'look' she's going for (whatever that is) is not doing her any favours. She looks like she's one of those rich folks from the Capitol (Hunger games) a la Effie Trinkett.

She could be mistaken for a Real Housewife from...
It's a look that will date her unfortunately. She looked beautiful at finale which I still reckon could've been professionally done or she was just pulling out the big guns for the occasion. Skye's not unattractive just not doing herself any favours.

Have you ever tried dry shampoo? It is THE best product EVER!!

So, if you wash/blow dry/straighten or style your hair on say, Monday, if its feeling a bit greasy at the roots by Wednesday (?), you spray the dry shampoo at the scalp and comb/brush it through and blow dry it. It gives your hair volume and soaks up the oily feeling. It can seem a bit powdery or look white when you first spray it but that disappears once its worked through.

They sell it at Coles or Woolies or hairdressers sell a more expensive version... It's the same. Even living in a hot climate and with daily exercising, it works like ***MAJIC***!!!

Batiste Wild Dry shampoo at Coles.

It was professionally done ... Her regrowth was gone
