SOOOOOOOOOOO glad I watched Sam's vid. He absolutely filled in some blanks. First of all, I love hearing him say he lost respect for Lawson. Men tend to stay out of things like that, with friends, so his opinion was nice. I also didn't realize Cat's partner cheated on her. He also gave more insight into Cat being predatory.
He also gave more insight into the Aisha, spa, situation. I thought she overreacted anyway, but hearing things she said they did, that they didn't, was eye opening too.
Kudos to Sam for being honest about the situation with him and Travis. He admitted Travis handled it better than he said, but he was upset and pretty much interpreted things wrong.
Best bit was about Marina. Everyone thought he was harsh, with his goodbye message. He basically was VERY specific how she lied. I didn't mind what he said anyway, but his goodbye message makes total sense now, as does Sandra confronting her. I would have had a word or two with her myself, had I been Sandra.
It's AMAZING what BB is not showing, and it's also a shame. Love Sam's honesty.
And he also straight up said Sandra isn't his type. Loves the girl, has a friend for life, but blondes are not his thing.
Good interview. He definitely filled some holes up for me, that clearly BB doesn't want filled.
For those not watching, he said he'd miss Ryan the most, and he is his favorite.

Thanks for posting, @Veronica2005

Television Without Pity, a popular yank based forum that was closed this past May. Jeff Probst was commonly referred to as peachy by its members because he had a habit of waxing lyrical about each new season of the show or something along those lines. ;)
I know I am late to the party, but I am just catching up and saw your post. I miss the twop recaps so much. The analysis of Chuck & Blair by Jacob was genius.

What I thought was odd, is that bb asked him to apologize to Aisha... Bb getting involved there. Wonder how many times this has happened where bb gets involved.

I'm shocked that cat was cheated on and this is the way she is behaving.

He is good in interviews, gave us some insight and was honest. Sadly bb has left a lot out this season.

Oh, I forgot to mention that. I hate that BB stepped in. We know the show is manipulated, but I think that is way too much. Aisha had no issue going to Sam. He would have spoken to her without the intervention. I agree, it makes you wonder how often it's happening.

I was shocked too. It made me dislike Cat even more. I didn't think that was possible. I agree. I'll definitely be checking out any Sam interviews, because like him or not, you feel like he's giving an honest opinion, and not trying to be cool. It's not only that BB is leaving things out, for me, it's what he is leaving out. I think with Skye and now Marina, showing them upsetting housemates is not in the cards, so there are lots of things we don't get. I don't mind seeing people's sweet side, but don't not show any arguments, for fear of perception. Way too many things, we'd all find interesting to see, being shown in 30 second flashbacks. If you're going to show Sam going at Marina, which for me it was VERY clear there was a story there, show the story.

Wow, thank you @Luke Blundell for that interview with Sam. I learnt so much more about him from that than I did the whole time in the house. Good on him for being so upfront and honest. It was great seeing that.

We miss so much of what goes on and the context.
I'm pretty sure that the things we're interpreting as major dramas and mean behaviour etc only represent a small fraction of how these housemates really feel about each other and how they interact together.
For instance we see the argument (which we all have let's face it) but miss all the nuance that makes up the context and intent behind things said, and we miss the making up afterwards when they realise an argument isn't a big deal.
We can only judge on what we see and make our own interpretaions which may or may not be indicative of the reality of the situation.
Which makes me realise that maybe I shouldn't be so quick to judge too.

Agree 100%

He would have spoken to Aisha on his own accord, but he said himself he thought there was nothing to apologize about in his opinion and bb asked him to, in which bb doesn't show you the whole footage of what occurred with Aisha, just a quick selected few scenes of what happened. Now which I believe bb wanted sam to apologize to create a fake storyline to it I reckon. to make it look one sided. Manipulations are too much this year.

Yeah Im off cat even more now too. And we are missing all these vital information's we should know about the hms, but I'd rather call them characters because bb is portraying them this way and not as themselves. I knew there was more to this Marina thing.

I think I will have to remember this too. This year bb is taking us for a ride and profiting along the way
