EXCLUSIVE: 'They sent me the contracts, but it felt dodgy': Skye Wheatley says she turned down Dan Bilzerian’s publicist's offer to pay her to party with controversial Instagram star
By SARAH FITZMAURICE FOR DAILY MAIL AUSTRALIA

PUBLISHED: 15:58 EST, 6 April 2016 | UPDATED: 16:42 EST, 6 April 2016

She's a busty blonde with a penchant for bikinis so it's perhaps no surprise that Instagram star Skye Wheatley caught the eye of professional poker player and party boy Dan Bilzerian.

The 23-year-old former Big Brother contestant has claimed she was approached by a publicist of Dan's who offered to pay her to party with the controversial Instagram star.

Speaking about receiving an email apparently inviting her to an all-expenses paid trip in America to party with Dan, Skye told Daily Mail Australia: 'At first I thought, "Yeh, ok." Who doesn't want to get paid to go to a party, but then I googled him and realised he was like Candyman and I thought it was a bit dodgy.'

Did she catch his eye? Skye Wheatley has said she was approached by Dan Bilzerian's publicist and was offered money to attend a party with the controversial Instagram star

After several emails between herself and a man named Jack, Skye said she decided against attending the 4th July party in California.

'They sent me the contract so I could have a look over it and they were sending me emails but I just didn't reply. I just felt it was dodgy and I became worried I wouldn't be safe,' she said.

A screenshot of correspondence between Jack and Skye discussing terms of a potential agreement appeared online last week.

In the emails Skye agrees to go to the party but has since said her interest was only on a professional level. She said: 'Who doesn't want to go to a party and get paid for it?'

She later decided against attending the event with a friend.

Ok... Is Sam Simmons actually funny? I got curious when I saw a write-up in the Age but nothing I have found via Google on the Internet has made me laugh. Grimace yes, but laugh no. Is he actually funny if you see him live?

I really honestly wanted to like it! I loved his tv show 'Problems' and was frequently impressed with his radio and tv spots ... but the show just didn't reach me.

The good points - Simmons is delightfully surreal, a talented impressionist, I like the way he uses Australian tv and movie 'tropes' to frame his stories.

The bad points - It didn't help that we were (not deliberately) in the front row and there was a lot of yelling at the audience in his show! My husband and I are pretty much introverts, so the yelling got a bit overwhelming! Sam wrote on Twitter that the show we went to was akin to a 'gladitorial battle' and it was a completely apt way to describe the show.
