Grief porn, good description. I am trying not to watch it at all now. I saw the armoured van leave the prison this morning but I don't want or need to see it do it several times in a short time frame.

Yeah. It's smart to just not take a stand when it won't make a difference. Im glad your government is fighting for them though. Helping citizens imprisoned in cruel circumstances is the least a government can do.

With other countries australia might be able to work a prisoner exchange. This is worse because the Australian police gave Indonesia the info, which isn't often the case. A lot of the time foreign nationals are set up by insider smugglers as decoys, so they go to jail and the country looks tough on drug trafficking. The real criminal network behind the smuggling stays untouched. But here, the info came from the Australian police.(I'm not sure where they got it.)

It looks like the ambassador will be recalled in protest. Hopefully they will still be running when you are there , should you need them. I don't know what happens but I'm guessing that no ambassador impacts the embassy staying open?

Final thought re Tully: now I understand why no brand wants to work with her in Bali. I thought she was losing her touch, but I think it's just the association with the country and the political situation.

I actually feel sorry for him. It's a Ford after all.

It's always so awkward when you're given shitty gifts and have to pretend you like them because ~manners. Hopefully he can sell it for scrap and get a little bit of play money for the weekend.
