My thing is I'm pretty crap at making small talk with people who are essentially now strangers specially in that sort of environment so I just prefer to avoid.

I haven't heard anything official yet...probably sorting out a couple of things in Melbourne first

Considering half Ed's circle of friends in Melbourne are his school friends who have also relocated- it seems a bit pointless. I remember photos of he or Nick at the Melbourne dinner event of their school a while back
