That's 'Straya mate!!

They're called thongs here (the underwear Americans call a thong is called a g-string here) - you won't get into a club or main bar of a pub in them - but thongs are a legitimate form of footwear in Australia.

I seriously think I'd prefer PT prac days to a week working with out of control 17 and 18 year olds at Schoolies - those Fijian island Schoolies events get feral! Although they are probably safer than Bali Schoolies.
