That depends on the area I suppose. I'd imagine that taking a commission out of multi million dollar properties sold in the inner city of Melbourne say for example Toorak, would be more lucrative than the returns to be had in the outer suburbs which usually sell for much less than the mean.

Same goes for lawyers, there are those that deal in cases worth millions of dollars and make a killing in the process charging exorbitant fees to line their pockets. The rest have to make do screwing divorcees out of their life saving in the outer 'burbs, etc...

I think he is bored, and Nick probably encouraged him if he is enjoying it (as Ed has pointed out - Nick is the leader and Ed follows him). I also wonder, with all the time Ed has had off work, whether there was a mutual decision for him to move on. Originally Ed had said he was due back at work in January, but has obviously taken time off regularly since then to pursue opportunities when they have popped up - so he may well have lost interest and need something new.

Haha, no Nick works for a different company. He did ring me and we did talk real estate. But I just don't feel right going into a swanky townhouse alone with him though, so I haven't responded to his last text. (My boyfriend was working at the time when Nick suggested inspecting the property)

Just kidding. Just can't be bothered making a special appt to inspect it because I have no intention of buying it. Plus i dont especially want to waste his time or have to pretend i might want to buy it! Happening to be going past getting a coffee and spotting it open is different.

Just had a leasing real estate through my house - planning on leasing it out while I do some travelling. Se was lovely and not at all like the reputation of the sleazy sales agent. We got talkingnaboutnall that a bit and she said even though the sales staff tend to look down a bit on the property management side of real estate, in the main it's the property managers who make more money than the sales agents (not always of course, but mainly).

Lol, I know how you feel - I've been looking at places, including those completely out of my price range, and it's really awkward coming up with questions and pretending you are interested. Then they start emailing and phoning you - eek!

It is true in general. Rentals are constant, if not as glamorous or with the same 'possible' earning potentials. Sales are more unreliable and subject to fluctuations, and you do need certain character traits to really succeed. Having said that, I think both Lowers have the types of personalities (and networks) that can succeed in sales

haha I love Heidi's response to Matt earlier. BB gets way less viewers than say The Block and they only bring the winners each year even though they usually win the Logie. Does he really expect that all of the HMs would be invited to go outside of the top 3?! Sorry Matt but you need to lay off the pipe. As for Nathan... LOL fat chance even if BB got 30 tickets you fool.
 
I am assuming only Tim and Jade will be at The Logies. Last year it was just Ben and Layla, so I don't see why it will be different this year. Possibly Tahan but even then I would be surprised to be honest, let alone someone like Matt, I like his optimism though. I know Tully is quite formidable but no way will she score an invite. She has been to the The Logies before anyway, she can't get too upset about being overlooked.

I could see Tahan and Ben going just because they've continued to work with Ch9 on various things. Although Jade hasn't I think she should still be there with Tim.

That's true. Tahan has at least worked for the network beyond BB and we kept hearing how there was a lot of interest in her from TV land, so I suppose I shouldn't be surprised if she pops up. I'm sure Mornings will have Ben doing some Logies red carpet wrap up or something to utilise their little pet.
