And before anyone says "it's been months," Tully visited what, two weeks ago? Which may have been 100% platonic but...yeah. Who knows.

Usually I'd agree if it were following a normal long-term relationship, but I think we need to remember here that what Drew and Tully seemed to have from the outside was far from your standard relationship. They got together officially when Drew left the house, they had a couple of months of a long distance relationship where they met up a couple of times, and from all reports it officially ended by Christmas (save for maybe a couple of friends with benefits meet ups following this).

Who knows? For all we know Drew and Tully might have known deep down that they couldn't work so they treated the brief relationship as a fling and now Drew is in something more "real" with this girl. I don't mean to say that Drully wasn't "real", but it happened in a situation that was very unusual. The HMs are now back in reality. Maybe Drew potentially being with this girl, and Tully spending time with Tahlia isn't a result of Drully but more them starting to sink back into their old lives and reality.
 
You're right and reasonable, [MENTION=35381]Gemini[/MENTION]. I know it's silly, but the factor I find tricky to work into the whole equation is how very real the feelings and the connection seemed, even given the unreality of the situation. Like it makes perfect sense that it might not work, but it's still sad and a little perplexing? Whatever, I'm an old fool. :)

I get what you mean. I think they'll always have a connection because what happened between them did so during what will probably be remembered as one of the best experiences of their lives (regardless of what Tully says about it now). As a result I think they'll always carry a torch for one another mainly because they'll always associate one another and their relationship with that experience if that makes any sense.

I also have to add that it must be confusing for a new gf/bf to understand their relationship with drew or tully, while drew and tully are whatever they are.

maybe Jess works at kate and co who organised the Levi party? because Ryan mentioned Drew and the other guy in the photo and thanked Levi, and kate and co thanked ryan for coming in a tweet today.
anyway we can keep an eye out for that PR company now:)
