Allison didn't push her buttons at all she's been nothing but nice. Andrew and Allison are the first showmance. Kenny is gay and hasn't told anyone. Andrew has made all kinds of bromance comments about Kenny, there might be an interesting reaction when the truth comes out.

I wrote a big reply while the dogs were playing in the park but I think it got lost when I tried to hit send.... Well Rake first because it is funny. I did like True Detective and I think MMc is fabulous in his recent roles including TD. I was talking TV with some friends over the weekend and someone made what I thought was an interesting observation. We were talking TV and genre and american adaptations (eg rake with greg kinnear) and she commented that American TV seems to either be 'light' OR 'dark' (TD being dark) whereas australian tv seemed to be able to blend the two quite skillfully, meaning for example you could see Malcolm jump to his death in one episode and then Cleaver go nuts getting high at a legal bash in the next episode and the comedy and tragedy be given equal-ish billing (ok, in Rake comedy mainly wins, which is fun, but in contrast TD is really ONLY 'dark'). Brilliantly so, but still monochromatic/mono genre-atic). I am sure there can be loads of exceptions if we look for them but I did find it an interesting observation and a possible reason why I do find some australian series rather lovely (seachange and rake are my two top examples) and some American series, no matter how brilliantly crafted, to be ever so slightly missing something. I think because actual life is generally both. Sure sometimes more one or the other but generally some sort of blend.

I found Tully reasonably interesting to watch in the house. She is still a bit interesting but it is kind of car crash - kardashian type interesting. Fascinating but not in an especially good way. I really think she could do alot better than whatever the F it is she is actually doing right now and I do find the selfies and promos somewhat tacky and self absorbed and a bit cheap. Not each individually, (some yes, but generally no), but in the sheer combined number/frequency, yes it gets boring.

So please don't misunderstand me - I thought TD was fab - AND I was an early fan of David Lynch (at least amongst my peers - although less as much of a fan now) and I totally totally binged the whole first series of TD in about 72 hours. I just found Rake more 'fun' and if I were stuck n a desert island... It's going to have to be Rake.

I am very much hoping we can still be friends...?!

I don't think you're thinking big enough. If they went to the effort to steal a plane and keep it for a while then they will load it with a nuclear bomb bought on the black market or provided by elements in Pakistan or North Korea. Then repaint the plane and reconfigure the digital ID so that they can fly it straight into whatever city they want to nuke.

Seriously come on now with this horseshit. I posted on their Insta the day they released "calf is smaller than arm san obi wan kenobi" and they deleted it within 3 minutes. I most definitely wasn't rude, wasn't harsh, wasn't a troll by any means. If I'm 16yo - I assume the only people looking at this sea of polyester - and see these 2 birds stretched and shopped to a ridiculous extent... wtf does that say about you?! Look at Katie's right leg in this pic. Yeah they grew 6 inches and lost 15 kilos. The shopping isn't even good as there are edges and tells everywhere. I wish them all the success in the world even though they pick my ass...but not like this.
