So I have done some investigating - for $75 you get a 1.5kg pork schnitzel, a bowl of chips and a 1L of beer - if you eat and drink it all within 45 minutes, you get it all for free

That's in Melbourne - for the Sydney folk there is Austrian Schnitzel House at Gladesville. 1 kg schnitzel of the meat of your choice, chips, 1 litre beer, 1 schnapps $59.00.1 hour to eat it Finish it all and you get a free dessert and t-shirt (and your photo on the wall).

I think I would prefer to have to whole meal for free, but a free dessert still sounds pretty good. Gladesville is not too far from me, I really see no option but to do this!
I could do that easily if it wasn't for the beer. I want the t-shirt!

Haha... eeek the pressure is on.
I did once get my photo on the wall of a burger place for eating a giant burger, that is the closest I have home to competitive eating. Putting away large amounts of food is a special skill of mine. I don't know whether to find a friend to join me or make this a secret shameful activity.

i'm not keen on pork, but if it was chicken, different story. does a chicken even weigh 1.5kg? would it be chicken i was eating? haha
the hardest challenge would be finishing the chips and beer, those 2 would fill you up, i wouldn't have a problem devouring that much 'chicken' by itself, and i also have lemon with my schnitzel #hungryhungryhippo #schnitnelmeup
