I am a blonde haired blue eye female with fair skin - it doesn't matter where I go in Europe, people come up to me and ask me for directions because they assume I am a local. I found this uncomfortable until it got me into the European resident queue in airports in Europe. I learned to just nod and smile.

and as a tall female one of the few places I noticed myself truly standing tall and not doing a Tully-like tall girl stoop ... growing up the tallest person in class and towering over the boys until they finally caught up in final year sucked!!!

It's frustrating when this commentator keeps referring to Sochi Live when you already know the results of the event you're watching as it was over hours ago. You ain't trickin anyone Ten!!

What was more astonishing was that I wasn't the smallest bra size there!! Hilarious.
 
welcome to Olympic coverage Aussie style - at least with the Winter Olympics we get to see more than the one-eyed AussieAussieAussieOIOIOI coverage we get with the Summer Olympics - if there isn't an Aussie in a heat/event we don't see it!

lol - funny how being out of your own country can give you a boost ;) ... but lovely to get home again to wide open spaces and lovely big homes - or even big apartments! Never appreciated my own personal space more than after that holiday

i do like this photo, they both look like they are in a very happy mood. if Drew is there, they are doing a pretty job of not getting him in view. i'd like to know where Tully is staying tonight, mmm

I love Japan and it has the best food in the world (including barbecues) but I must admit getting back to the ocean was beautiful.

Yeah you're right. I shouldn't be complaining about their tomdikkery this time as at least we get to see more events. Did you watch the figure skating just now? That poor S Korean girl got robbed. I signed a petition earlier today about the dodgy Russian judges that already had 900k+ names on it. The news outlets are flipping out about it too but she handled herself so gracefully. I would've rushed the judging table no joke.

Why don't you just stream it? I watch cycling throughout the European season and there are always plenty of streams.
