Oh. Well a while back someone from the jade thread posted a video from her time on Italy's top model where she quits. Someone translated it and jade says she quit because she didn't want to model anymore and wanted to go back to Australia and go to uni. That's my only source of proof.

She had to say something I suppose. I suspect that's a sanitised version.

I found that strange too. I'm not debating it, I'm just referring to the source of info I know. Jade said in her quitting moment that she didn't want to be a model or something like that and wanted to go to uni. I don't know why she would go back into modelling if that was the case.

he said it wasn't for him, sounds pretty much the same. there are a lot of aspiring models who would of jumped at the chance to been on the show, just as there where people wanting to be a hm. i have been thinking about this since people are calling Nathan a quitter lately. i can see how it would be different to your expectations, a few hms have said this, one thing to watch, another to live it

Actually she did say something about other models using drugs and referred to unhealthy living and stuff like that. Maybe she didn't like the lifestyle? I agree with you, she had to say something.

I have to think the uni thing was a fib. SCU near Ballina has a brilliant bridging course for people who didn't compete Year 12 or who left school early. They take all comers.
 
I thought Jade moved back to Australia because of a brokenheart? I think Jade is more keen though to be an actress than a model now.

it's a shame she freaked out a bit on doing the Talent Quest on BB, when she had a chance to do something to show her acting skills.

My understanding, just from reading articles done at the time she left INTM, was that she didn't want the high-end, Milan-model lifestyle which is what INTM aims for. I think it was the eating disorders, sleeping with photographers, drugs etc. The modelling she kept doing is not INTM type stuff (some of the stuff she has modeled is pretty horrible IMO). I know she didn't get into uni.

I don't have any expectations of this type of thing. Whatever floats their boat. I just took the source of info as it is I guess. But you make a fair point. I agree that another person could have fulfilled these roles and jumped at the opportunity. I guess Nathan just seemed to have moped around during his time and yeah. Jade was doing well apparently, I really didn't see why she would want to leave and just took it as she really didn't want it for whatever reason
 
Id say she quit and came home because of the boyfriend thing. Also if jade was sticking her nose in and and being bitchy towards the Italy top model girls she would probably get called a quitter and told to shut up too. But she didn't quit bb so its not relevant, Nathan did though and keeps mouthing off.

As I said there are ways of getting into uni. I know I'm going to sound like a bitch, but Jade's height and in fact her oft commented on breasts probably suggest that high end modelling wasn't likely to be a goer. I am aware that she has modelled in the US too.
 
I think Jade is probably more suited to lingerie and bikini modelling because of her figure and height, which I think she was doing while working as a barmaid in Ballina?

INTM was quite a while before she moved back (a couple of years, I think from memory - but stand to be corrected on that) -so I don't think she quit to come back.

I agree with you - she is too short and too well-endowed for successful runway work. I think by the time she got back here she had moved from wanting to teach to wanting act.

Nathan did seem to mope around in the house and feel sorry for himself..he was mad at Australia for evicting the SS. I think he thought he would be good mates with Ben (against Tim) which would help his popularity but even Ben didnt seem have time for him.

I thought so. But I can't base it on. It's only an assumption for me. She is from ballina, so if she was serious about uni I can only assume she would have looked at all options
