Thank you for leaving it littlebear. I feel the same today. We have no idea where her/other HM's comments/photos etc. come from - we are just assuming based on our personal bias. I like speculating, but I also like facts.

It's crazy comparing the sugar sisters style with someone like Tully. In the uS, playsuits are not a thing that people wear. But in general, I can see a lot more of the US having that inexpensive Kmart/ Walmat / sears kind of vibe and going for the Katie and Lucy stuff than emulating a sophisticated style. Tahan and Jade don't have that higher fashion sense either.

Just wondering if the sugar sisters end up with a line of inexpensive and comfortable clothing, they might find an audience. I can see people in the US havng their same design ideas as long as it is price conscious. They could do well even if I would never wear a single thing they wear. Maybe their market is younger girls? Not young professional wannabes shilling free clothes on twitter.

I'm surprised because they didn't seem overly ambitious on the show. Yet they've made huge strides from how I perceived them.

I suppose Drew has this Tshirt design thing going, which is impressive too, considering he didn't have any background in that as far as I know.

Matt too has a new business venture. And he looks fantastic.

Funny to see where they will be in a couple of years.

Edit: I mean it seems crazy to me to see such a huge gap in style sense, not that anyone else was making that comparison.

In other words, it's annoying when people don't act the way we'd like them to? Fair enough on the ambiguous whinges, but people deriding her feelings all the time is a pretty understandable (though perhaps unfair) reason to find them shitty. And yeah, I realise I'm nearly alone in this, but it's just another perspective.

Of course it is... It's human nature but posting it on SM brings her even more shit people! Are you presuming that by Tully saying 'people are shit' that she's talking about the people deriding her feelings on her SM?

As I said in the other thread -

Stage 5 clinger Jade at it again. What a drainer. Tedious.

Yes, that's probably better worded. So correction to the stalker, 5 stage clinger is better suited.

Gemini, good point made, but I still see the clinger in her in this article. And not wanting to upset you, but yes, it does make me frustrated with her, and like reaper said, it's tedious now. She is still a nice person so I do hope this acting gig works for her and I do see h&a as a perfect job for her. She lives around there too doesn't she? So if that's the case, what a nice set up for her.

Really?! Maybe something shitty did happen but FFS - either say what it was (someone just stole my park/pulled out in front of me/ forgot my pickle... whatever) or she could try dealing directly with whoever is pissing her off. This business of putting up ambiguous whinges on a regular basis... It's just sooooo dull and annoying!!

People are not shit... Some things that people do are shitty. Broad sweeping generalisations shit me!!

Love this whole post!

No, that's not what I meant at all, though I was afraid it read that way. What I meant was that when people (on Twitter, in real life, here if heaven forbid she ever reads it) assume she's disappointed in or down on people for some petty or selfish reason and make fun of her for it, it just kind of reinforces the viewpoint that people kind of suck. I'm sorry she's feeling that way, and sometimes I completely relate, so for me it's enough to leave it at that.

Ha! What about 'I, myself, ....'????? Anyone ever met someone who refers to themselves by their own name? I find that really interesting.

She was clearly asked about Ed in an article from a newspaper in his home city. They made reference to a previous interview with Ed. What was she supposed to say about Ed that would have not made her seem so "clingy"? She could have said nasty things about him I guess, but that would be immature, wouldn't it? It's a no win situation for her.

I think that the SS are going to market their clothing line directly toward teens (so I don't think it needs to be high quality, cute and trendy carry the day), I have a feeling it could be successful if they stay focused on one market demographic (and if the clothes look better than their desserts).

It's a no win situation with her? Sorry delcan but this is basing it on how she was in the bb house and from the article I don't think many would see how she would be any different. And for me, she still is that clingy girl. She was asked about ed and she chooses how to respond. No one dares to say much about jade because some of you get upset, so if something is said, it's a no win situation? No, it doesn't work like that. I said I hope she gets the h&a gig, I said she was nice, but I also said that she is a 5 stage clinger and I'm entitled to that. It seems to me that if it's a negative on jade then it's a no win situation. You may not see jade as a bunny boiler, but I see otherwise.

Yeah, although when I first skimmed through it my first reaction was "ugh annoying/clingy Jade" when I've actually read the article properly I've realised this. The Lowers are pretty popular in Adelaide. What's she gonna do when asked? Put him down? Doubt it. That's just not the way she's wired. If she's asked a lot of questions about Ed (and obviously she would have been given it's his home town and they'd already interviewed him before) she's screwed either way. Respond kindly and she's "clingy", respond nastily and she's the bitch that talked badly about the guy that's loved by a lot of people in Adelaide (including his father and friends whom Ed gave her contacts for).

I'm so over emoTully passive aggressively dealing with stuff. I finally understand why living with her is a nightmare filled with drama.
You know that tweet was directed to specific people.
Although she started the day or the weekend thanking her great friends who have stood by her. She seemed very excited about her plans, maybe even trying too hard. ( Drew, I making a toastie! do you want one?)

I guess I shouldn't get involved because I have gone from supporting her to understanding her crazy selfish antics in the house is just how she deals with life. That's ok.

It is possible that I cared about Drew and his feelings when I thought I cared about Tully.

She did have to deal with a ton of pressure and I think she has handled it a million times better than I could have. I think her feelings for Drew were real but unrealistic in her real life. But there are people who feel the entire thing was her using Drew to get attention. I don't think it was a pre planed thing for her to find a guy. And, damn, Drew is so hot you can see the attraction.

I couldn't live with the emotional extremes she puts herself through. I do think that part of her is broken due to her Mom and her family and she probably needs lots of support to deal with it. I can have compassion for her but just be over her shallow, screwed up life. I hoped for more.

I know I've expressed this a few times. Thanks for letting me vent!! I got so attached to her and Drew in the house. I even got up early in the morning to watch them and to follow the live feeds.

Again, thanks for letting me vent.

I got the clingy vibe from her mentioning that she has Eds dad number and stuff like that. Non-clingy would be a neutral yes were friends and he's given me advice on where I live now. She goes a step too far which makes her seem clingy. She's still selling how close they are. I think Ed would have done the same for any friend.
