Tim absolutely bought followers he is up to 63k, Tully has 76.6k.

I think it's pretty obvious he bought followers....Why is the question

On the plus side for him though Tully's IG followers are dropping quickly...(She's almost below 200K now)

Anything Tim says or does that involves any one of the other housemates will not be taken with a pinch of salt, and it will usually be turned into a drama by people. As much as you and I enjoy him, others feel the exact opposite and seem to take any opportunity he gives them to criticize or belittle him. I had no problem with the prank, it didn't work, but it was funny imo. But I knew immediately it would hit the fan in here because he involved 4 other hms in it.

It didn't work and he posted it anyway, it stinks of desperation (just like buying followers).
 
What desperation? What is it you think he wants that he doesn't already have? He has friends, he has fans, he has some money, he's getting a new pet, he's about to move house with 3 mates, he's fine.

The only thing he may have been desperate about was that he promised us a new video each week and if he didn't have another one ready when this prank failed, well he wanted to keep his promise to release one.

Hopefully none of his other videos will involve any other housemates. He doesn't need them there to entertain his fans, not at all.

yeah i'm starting to think that's why he does it....they make it too easy.

haha i hope he glues a $1 coin to the pavement in front of jazz and films her trying to desperately pick it up, or starts a rumour about a new "it" girl and films tully's sprint towards her and subsequent licking her face every 5 minutes (oh he doesn't need to do that, she will insta 1000 photos herself). Nah just jokes. Kinda.

That's what I meant about he doesn't make it easy to be a Tim fan. lol. He seems to enjoy doing these things and getting people talking and whatever the master plan is, if there is one, fine; but it was calming down about him for a bit and I was sort of enjoying the kumbaya moment and now here we are again.

Now, the very next day, and its Oh look, he's buying followers. Well that must mean he's jealous of Tully. (No suggestion that she bought her followers I noticed). Oh look, Tim's desperate for attention, oh really? seriously? He was just with Drew a few nights ago and Jazz and we don't know who else. Why would he be desperate for their attention? He isn't.

he obviously doesn't care so don't worry about it. He's having a blast.

OMG!! You are such a riot. Totally cracking me up picturing Jazz trying to get the coin. And that makes me feel bad, poor thing does need some money. :) Very thankful I'm not the only one who likes Tim. Thanks Jo-bot.

Some reasons for the follower spike
1) Tim didn't like Caleb having more followers and working out they were bought he thought to even the score.
2) Tim did it for the publicity so that when he got caught he could get a headline and maybe expose others.
3) Caleb paid the $50 so that the followers could be added to Tim and thus hopefully deflect from his BS follower count.

Only one of those reasons are correct :D

Yes, that's what I'm talking about! Except instead of Jazz it would be better with Ben/Nathan/Caleb/Justin/Mikkayla/Sharon* because I reckon they would be even more desperate for cash. After all, they don't have a Dougal to buy them nice things hahaha

Tim's ego couldn't handle it that Caleb Tully and others had more followers than him, Tim doesn't seem to have many close friends (there has to be a reason), I think Tim doing pieces for the Morning Show is great, what I am not thrilled with is him using the other HM's for attention without their consent (for his own desire for attention).

You're talking about a bunch of egocentric reality TV star wannabes. They would LOVE any attention they can get. They want to be relevant. They want to fill that void in their lives. They are pathetic.
