Tim's numbers have been steadily climbing since NZ fans are coming on board and also since he started his weekly video release I've seen a faster climb. It doesn't hurt him also that he is very responsive to his followers, he does not ignore and take us for granted, that goes a long way.

Seems to me that how many Twitter followers anyone has no longer matters, its nothing any fan can brag about because obviously now people will just say they bought them, back when this was said about Caleb I realized follower count no longer means anything at all. Except you can stay in that hotel for free.

This photo looks like she is laying on something (maybe an air mattress) in the upper right of this photo is a baseboard and it meets a carpet, so where Tuilly is looks close to the floor (I guess it could be a low couch).

Tim's prank was just a prank. He loves to stir, he loves to create chaos. Wasn't just an impulsive thing either it took time to get the video ready and upload it so he could have reconsidered. He does not make it easy to be a Tim fan when he does things like this.

I thought it was funny, but I knew the crap was going to hit the walls and it did and he isn't the only one covered in it. I think of him like family now, love him to bits. Sometimes, like his Dad says, I wanna shake him and ask wth were you thinking, but that's just Tim, I see his faults, I really do, but they just make me love him even more.

I sometimes feel like I'm on a plane, and Tim is the pilot and some weeks it really feels like a kamikaze mission, but I'm not wanting out of the plane. I want him to succeed in his life so I worry about some of these things he does. At the same time a tiny selfish part of me feels like, the more people he loses, the less I have to share. :) #TeamTim #ImayneedaninterventionbutIdontwantone.

hey sparrow, just wondering what you thought was bad about tims 'prank'? I'm really struggling to see why there is so much angst about it from everyone. I don't think it was funny (they idea of it could have been funny but it kinda fizzled). But apart from outing who dumped who, which should be taken with a pinch of salt since its just his take on the situation and we already kinda knew anyway (and who really cares). So apart from everyone else turning it into a drama i don't understand what the controversy is.

Nobody is having a go at Tim Sparrow for buying followers, or even accusing him of if...we're just asking if he has given his follower count has sprung drastically (almost 10k!) in literally a few hours. I checked his Twitter (because I like reading his tweets) yesterday morning and he had like 51-52k and then I checked again that night when the jump in his follower count was mentioned here and it was suddenly at 61k. Yes, Tim's follower count has been steadily rising (I remember when the show finished and it was like 30k or so) but going up 10k in a couple of hours is kinda unheard of (unless you're like a massive A-grade celeb or something). That's why I asked had he bought some because that (or a Twitter glitch) was the only way I could explain that sudden jump. I'm not criticising him, just more curious that anything else.
 
hmmm it's a bit odd that ALL of tim's recent followers last tweeted on '8 Jul 2012' ... I reckon he's bought followers.
Also the majority of them have done less than 10 tweets and follow over 1000 people.

I dont think he likes that tully has the most followers.

I just checked his Insta and FB followers too and there hasn't been a dramatic spike in those. And usually if someone suddenly picks up a lot of real fans you'd think they'd want to follow them on FB/Insta too.

I don't have an issue with any of them buying followers. It's important that they each work on their personal brand and if they think that making it look like they have more followers or are more "popular" will help them then they need to do it. It shocks me a bit if Tim has done this because it seems pretty out of character for him but I'm sure he had his reasons.
