yeah i don't see anything that he said was really that mean towards anyone. I didn't think it was funny at all, but i don't see why it's a big deal either. None of them are together, he just said it out loud.

If you had to be careful of your personal info and you had to put up with the fact that he has to be the centre of attention, how long would he last as a friend? I have nothing against noisy and entertaining, but a big mouthed narcissist as a friend would make me a masochist.
I agree with what you've written here Jo-bot but that's not what I've taken issue with. Jade's made an incredibly conscious and long-term effort not to give anything away re her and Ed. Whether I've agreed with that approach or not I dont know considering it was pretty obvious they broke it off anyway, however it still wasn't Tim's place to be the one to say anything. I feel bad for Jade that she's spent months deliberately not saying what had or hadn't happened with her and Ed and it all goes to waste because Tim runs in and pointblank says that she'd been given the flick. How humiliating would that be for her given the crap she's already gotten for being obsessed, a stalker, whatever other synonyms people have used. It's easy to say "she deserves it for coming on too strong" or "Tim's just calling it how he sees it", but I think it's also important to remember that that information was most likely given to Tim by Jade herself in confidence while the pain of it was still raw. She also told Ben recently that Tim was "very caring" so I have little doubt in my mind that she's confided in him with this.
Likewise his comments about Tully just easily going back to the lesbian scene make it sound like Drew was just flicked aside without a second thought and he never meant anything to her. Now, for all we know that could be the case but Drew loves/loved her so I don't think he would have liked that even if on the surface he just laughs it off like he usually does.
I don't have issue with whatever he said about Ed and Tully. It's no secret they do not like one another and I very much doubt anything he "revealed" there would have been told to him in confidence by either of them. He's said himself that Jade and Drew are his mates though so I'm not sure if I agree with him taking advantage of their feelings for Ed and Tully for some video laughs.
I'm sure he does have a good reason behind it (it's Tim he always does) but at the moment at least I can't see it unfortunately.

but why does everyone think tim knows anything...it's probably just his take on it. He likes jade and drew so he's not gonna blame them. Jade and drew haven't given details but why would anyone take anything tim says too seriously, he was obviously trying to be funny about the lesbian changing it's spots and since it was all a surprise to him obviously drew never told him anything. People read too much into this stuff, it was a stupid prank with a stupid bit of commentary that really shouldn't be taken seriously given the source.
I see your point however even if neither Jade or Drew actually told him anything when he's passing comments off as fact there's always going to be the large assumption that he does know what's going on given he's friends with these people. I think the majority of the posters here are smart enough to know that he might not actually know, or he might in fact know but it lying, however I don't think the majority that follow the HMs think that way. If Tim tells them that Jade's been dumped then they'll assume that Jade's been dumped. If Tim tells them that Tully flicked Drew for the lesbian scene then that's what people will believe. It's still hurting them regardless of whether it's true or not.
hmm i just don't think either will give that much of a shit. They may be annoyed but i don't think they'd be hurt.

HE says he's a narcissist. I think he's simply a self-centred twat, but you know, if he says it I'm happy in this case to go with it.
Well he did just say on Facebook that he hasn't heard from Jade and suspects he's in big trouble. I don't think he'd jump to that assumption unless he thought there was a reason why she might not be happy. It certainly wouldn't have been because of the prank itself. There was nothing in it and knowing both of them they would have laughed that part off. However I can see why they (Jade particularly) might have been upset with the stuff that preceded it.
For the record I don't think Tim is a narcissist. He certainly has some tendencies but the common identifier of someone with narcissist personality disorder is that they don't think there's a problem with their narcism. Tim's said himself that it's caused him to lose relationships in life so with that acknowledgement I certainly wouldn't label him as a narcissist (even if he likes to think he is lol).

Here is the thing, I don't think it was that big of a deal. It's very tim. But at the same time was there a purpose? Not really. But, he did point out what we already know and settled the speculations of who dumped who, for that I can't complain.
